After moving into a house with a pool, we decided to take our water to this store weekly for testing and take care of it ourselves These people have been nothing but helpful Every one of the employees has been friendly, and has offered helpful tipsSince the automatic pool cleaner conveyed with the house, it was old, and we had no idea what work if any had been done on it before But it definitely was not working wellWe talked to them about it and they said they could look at it and call us with an estimate before working on itIt turned out that it had work done previously, but parts were put in incorrectly (which damaged them)We were told it would be around $to repairWe asked them if it was worth it on a cleaner that old They said there was no need to buy a new one and it was worth it to fix this oneI went to pick it up days later, and it cost me $and changeWhile I was there, I talked to another employee about getting a new hose for the cleaner since we had a few that were crackedHe was very knowledgable and recommended changing all the hoses at the same time, and explained that they usually last and a half to years, depending on water chemistry and whether or not you have a pool enclosureOkay, so getting the box of hoses was probably better(Ours were quite old, and our pool is not enclosed)Then he said, "If you can wait, come back in a few days when they go on sale."
I have had nothing but good experiences with this location
By the way, the repaired pool cleaner is acting like it is brand new!
I have been a loyal customer since In I write a bad check to themIt was my fault , I paid them and wnt to court and had it dismissedI kept using them It was not their faultThat is until one day in late I went in to get my chlorineI forgot I was on a cash only statusWent to the bar that has an ATM down the walkway and left my son at Pinch a Penny with our stuffThe older lady at the cash register talked a whole bunch of degrading and trash about me with my yr old standing right thereWe will NEVER go back That *** made my son cry listening to her
