not a random act at all, but one intentionally directed against our property and Ms. [redacted] as a result of her relationship, good or bad, with him. On the night of July 22nd, Ms. [redacted] paged the property manager stating that the father of her child and his brother broke the glass on her patio door by throwing a cement block through the door, so she is well aware of who damaged our property. She failed to mention that in her complaint to you.Paragraph 13 of Ms. [redacted] signed TAA lease agreement states: “You must promptly pay or reimburse us for loss, damage, consequential damages, government fines or charges, or cost of repairs or service in the apartment community because of a Lease or rules violation; improper use; negligence; other conduct by you, your invitees, your occupants, or your guests; or any other cause not due to our negligence or fault as allowed by law, except for damages by acts of God to the extent they couldn’t be mitigated by your action or inaction. “Although Ms. [redacted] did not damage the property herself, our property suffered damages due to a personal affiliation of Ms. [redacted].
