We contacted the customer immediately after notification of his complaint. The customer had an engine replacement almost two years ago and when he picked up the truck it was running. Soon after though, he started having problems with it. He found a loose fuel line that we didn't install properly. He...
said he fixed it but the truck still didn't run well. He says he thinks it may be the security system because the truck will crank and then immediately die. He said he removed the security box and it looked burned. The truck has not been in our shop in almost two years. I asked him if it would be ok if we came to pick up the vehicle and get it fixed and running properly again at no charge. He asked if we could give him some time to put all the parts back in the truck before we came. I asked him to call me back when the truck was ready and let me know when I could get it. He said that sounded fair to him. Will let you know how the repair goes.
