Butler HVAC IS THE LAST CONTRACTOR YOU SHOULD CALL IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF SERVICES THEY DO NOT SHOW UP OR CALL IF THEY ARE NOT COMING OR IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LATE,THEY CARRY NOTHING ON THEIR TRUCKS TO MAKE REPAIRS,AND THE OWNER, MATT, IS A SCAM ARTIST WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT HEAT FOR OVER A WEEK NOW AND ALL HE IS CONCERNED WITH IS BILL OUR HOME WARRANTY COMPANY FOR WORK HE HAS NOT DONE CAREFULLY READ HIS REVIEWS, THERE IS NO WAY HE CAN HAVE AN A+ RATING WHEN HALF OF HIS REVIEWS ARE NEGATIVE

I wanted to thank you for being the ones sent to repair my heating unit this morning. Total class act, the guys were great. I did e-mail First American as well and told them not to screw things up and keep you guys around! If I ever need to make a referral or need additional work you all will be the first I call. *** Butler was called out to fix a problem with my parents heating unit After looking at the unit MrButler told my parents the unit would have to be replaced and needed them to let him look into see if they could finance it and this was possibleMrButler told them it would cost $7,for everythingThe problem came about when his worked forged my mothers name to have to work done and the price of the unit was very high compared to other companiesWhen I spoke to my Butler he gave me a very fast talking to confuse the situation of what the cost of the work and not having a permit or giving a recite for the work doneMy parents called MrButler several times about the unit not working and to come have it fixed but he did notI live in a different state and had to come to NC to have MrButler remove the unit and have in writing that they will get a full refundThis was a very bad experience for my parent that I had to come from NJ to help since this was affecting their HeathAt one point MrButler threatened to remover their unit in very bad cold conditions of weather alsoHe lied about having a permit one was never filed until after I asked if one was done and the state should have came out NO later than after the work was done and that also was no doneMrButler crew did not have the unit properly connected so there was no heat and badly put together with only one scew on each side panel to hold it togetherI took pictures of the unit as well as when MrButler came to disconnect it that his unit was never damaged and to ensure my parents did nothing wrong to it this was video taped the day he removed it for leagal purposes and he said eveything is good and they will get a full refundMy complaint is that when I called for other quoted with the same unit it was more than$2,less than his with permits and state inspection no fast talking of confusionI also got a copy of what all was going to be done and the cost of each item at that time unlike MrButler that complained he had No ink in his printer and could give one or that he mailed it off and almost a month later still nothing he also refused to fax it showing the cost this was very bad to me for a company not to give a recite for what work would be done or any permits or state inspectionMrButler also tried to lie and discredit my name to my parents since I took initiative to look into the problem witch my mom got him straight on that matterI was hurt he did that to make himself look innocent but it didn't workHe did admit to my parents that I indee was right in the endSo please check into the price of more than one company and don't let someone fast talk you into anything to avoid problems with any company and always get several quotes before making quick dissitions of a very costly and important part of your life

After using Butler Heating & Air because they were assigned to us through our home warranty company, I would highly recommend finding someone else to do your repair workWe are days without air conditioning in our upstairs in July in NC where temps rise above daily, and they have asked Old Republic to reassign our case because they are "too busy" to come out and finish the jobOn top of that, every time we were scheduled a service call (which was times total) they arrived outside of the hour window without a courtesy call or explanationThere was a specific time where the window was 12-on a Friday and at 3:I called dispatch and was told it would be after 5, meaning I wouldn't have had to leave work early but they did not seem concerned with our time at allOriginally they diagnosed the problem and when they returned to fix it, they didn't have the correct part and had to return againvisits to fix the problem and days of altering our schedule to accommodate them coming only to have week later water falling from our ceiling and having to turn the unit off to prevent further damageIt has been a truly frustrating experience and for them to just be asked to reassign our case and get out to the job before completing it, is outrageousWe would not recommend this company to anyone who values good work or their time

Butler Hvac Services is one of the Best companies I have ever dealt with. They responded fast and the technician was very courteous and professional. I had an issue with my Home warranty Company and Butler Hvac were great to deal with. Very Honest and the Owner Matt B[redacted] is awesome. I will definitely Call them if I ever have any other issue with my AC unit and will highly recommend them to everyone I know. I cannot say enough about them.
