Review: Renting a storage unit from this company. Company employee Candice W[redacted] contacted me and stated that payment for September 2014 had not been received and that my unit will be emptied on October 13, 2014. I replyed back stating that the payment had been mailed. At that time I asked her what would I have to pay to keep the unit, monthly charges and late fees and once I got that amount I would send payment. In the mean time I checked with the company that I purchased the money order from and the stated that the money order I purchased in September was cashed on September 20, 2014 but I would have to request in writing for a copy of the canceled money order and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get a copy. They stated that they were unable to tell me who indorsed the money order over the phone. I then again contacted Ms. W[redacted] to give her this information. I asked once again for the amount that was owed so that I could keep my belongings. I offered to pay what was owed and that once I figured out who cashed the money order we would take it from there. I did not hear from her. I sent another message letting her know that I was mailing $80 and to let me know what was still owed. I have sent three requests and have heard nothing from her. I have sent self addressed stamped envelopes for her to mail a receipt back to me and have received very few. I try and call, leave messages and no one returns my calls. There is a lack of communication with this company. They have lost a payment in the past but did find it. I admit I have been late in the past, but I live on the other end of the country and I have to depend on the mail. I am unable to just drive down there to take care of this since I live in New Mexico.Desired Settlement: I would like them to let me know what is owed so that I can pay it and keep my belongings. I made the payment, I just need some time to find out who cashed the money order. I want to keep my belongings, but need to know how much to pay so that I can do so. I want this company to promise me that they will not dispose of my belongings and let me know how is owed so that I can place a payment in the mail and we can deal with the missing payment at a later date.
