In response to the complaint filed for Draperies Cleaned: The Draperies in question were dropped off for cleaning in very dirty/bad conditionThey had been hanging in the window of the residence for many years before cleaningThey smelled of rancid cigarette smoke as there must have been a heavy smoker for years in the houseThey were some of the dirtiest, nastiest draperies that I have ever cleaned and I have been doing this for yearsThey were so nasty that we had MrSargent sign a Disclaimer/Release form because we were afraid they may fall apart in cleaning The draperies were so dirty that I had to Dry Clean them twice to get them as clean as we couldThere were some "water mark stains" that did not come out in the Dry Cleaning (old water marks never come out in Dry Cleaning) and MrSargent was told of this by me when he picked them upI am also the person who helped put the draperies in his car at pick up First of all the Draperies WERE NOT "thrown in the trunk of his car"He came in a small car and had no room in the back seatSo he opened the hatchback on his car and proceeded to lay the draperies in the back, at which time I lay more draperies on topwe both did this until all of his draperies were in his carAt no time did he complain about how his draperies were as he said in his statement "thrown in the trunk of his car" Also not sure what he means by "witnesses"He was alone when he picked up the draperiesAs far as re-clean or refund goes we will not be doing either of these things as we went out of our way to get MrSargent's draperies as clean as we could by running them through times and any more cleaning will probably make them fall apart as they are very old draperies [redacted] ***

before cleaning. They smelled of rancid cigarette smoke as there must have been a heavy smoker for years in the house. They were some of the dirtiest, nastiest draperies that I have ever cleaned and I have been doing this for 30 years. They were so nasty that we had Mr. Sargent sign a Disclaimer/Release form because we were afraid they may fall apart in cleaning.
The draperies were so dirty that I had to Dry Clean them twice to get them as clean as we could. There were some "water mark stains" that did not come out in the Dry Cleaning (old water marks never come out in Dry Cleaning) and Mr. Sargent was told of this by me when he picked them up. I am also the person who helped put the draperies in his car at pick up.
First of all the Draperies WERE NOT "thrown in the trunk of his car". He came in a small car and had no room in the back seat. So he opened the hatchback on his car and proceeded to lay the draperies in the back, at which time I lay more draperies on top. we both did this until all of his draperies were in his car. At no time did he complain about how his draperies were as he said in his statement "thrown in the trunk of his car".
Also not sure what he means by "2 witnesses". He was alone when he picked up the draperies. As far as re-clean or refund goes we will not be doing either of these things as we went out of our way to get Mr. Sargent's draperies as clean as we could by running them through 2 times and any more cleaning will probably make them fall apart as they are very old draperies. Review: I took my curtains to Pine Street cleaners when I picked them up they threw them in the trunk of my car. About a week later my worker [redacted] hung them up for me. She noticed 3 panels with bad stains on them. I contacted Pine St. cleaner. They said they wouldn't reclean them. I sprayed them with awesome cleaner. The stain came out. I told them and they still refused to reclean them.I have 2 witness my Ihss worker [redacted] Desired Settlement: I would like at least $100.00 back or reclean the curtains.
