Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Pink Ladies Carpentry regarding complaint ID [redacted].
Sincerely,

Review: In the spring of 2012, we contracted with Pink Ladies Carpentry (led by [redacted] and [redacted]) to renovate our kitchen. The job was to have taken approximately 10 days. It is now April 2014, and the kitchen has yet to be completed. All kinds of promises and commitments were made, and very few of them were fulfilled.

A littany of issues remain including, but not limited to, scratched cabinets being installed and not fixed, a panel not correctly installed that has to be replaced, crown molding not correctly installed, etc. However, clearly the two most important criticisms are that the Pink Ladies crew is not competent, and [redacted] is not responsive and is not dependable.

The best advice we could give is to not work with this company and these two proprietors. However, if someone were to decide to move forward with a renovation project, do not pay them until the job is done, and make sure the final amount due is large enough to ensure their attention to finish it. We decided to pay them (thinking they were small business owners who would fulfill their commitments), and it was certainly a mistake.Desired Settlement: I want $1000.00 to complete the final repairs, which include: fixing/replacing poorly installed cabinet side panel, cabinet railings/molding, loose floor boards, cracked tile grout and scratched cabinet panels.

Review: We had Pink Ladies come in to redo our kitchen. Part of that was to put a new floor in the kitchen. This was in [redacted]. Within a few weeks, the tiles were loose and it's apparent that they need to be re-grouted. Someone from Pink Ladies came to inspect and agreed that at least 4 tiles had to be re-grouted. We have tried numerously to schedule a time for them to come and finish the work, almost 6 months after the job was started. There was also a microwave that had one of the prongs removed on the cord so it could handle a two prong outlet that they installed. We've asked for them to come back and replace the outlet box and cord so that it is back to the factory designed 3 prong cord but that has also not happened yet.Desired Settlement: We have exhausted the patience we had with the months that have passed and we are afraid that we would need to hire someone else to redo our floor. We are also worried that using the microwave with just 2 prongs is a health violation since the lights dim and there is a disturbing noise that continues until the microwave is finished.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Pink Ladies Carpentry regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

We have not yet scheduled a date for them to come and replace the floor. They have come over to inspect the floor on Friday, [redacted] and agreed that the floor needs to be replaced. We are just waiting to finalize a date for them to come.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

We have been in contact with the [redacted]'s and the micro wave connection has been rectified. The entire tile floor in the kitchen is going to be picked up and new tile installed on top of Schluta -Ditra membrane system which will prevent the tiles from moving. We just found the matching tile last week and was dropped off to [redacted] for approval. We will be rectifying this complaint within the next two weeks.

I failed to answer this complaint on a timely basis and time slipped by but never was not in contact with the [redacted] 's to rectify problem and satisfy the customer

Review: Pink Ladies Carpentry installed a new kitchen for us and provided broken cabinets, unfinished window and door, I had to pay someone else to provide this and pay them.... Pink Ladies Carpentry installed very cheaply made cab -inets and made me pay for additional products. i.e. cabinet knobs, faucets, new shingles etc. Added additional monies to my bill and did a terrible job installing cabinets... They are falling apart. Paid well over $20,000 for shotty workmanship. Every time [redacted] showed up at my house he charged me more money for what I don't know... Everything was suppose to be included in the price.... Left us with no insulation and no door or window in Dec. I had to have someone put in insulation because we have a baby in the house and a 12 year old... House was so cold we could not keep warm.... I begged [redacted] to please put the door back on and the window, but he neglected my pleas... He should be shot on sight for his cruelty.... He left us unfinished.... The cabinets he installed are falling apart and there are spaces in between the cabinets and their moldings. Please help us get our money back, we will gladly give him back his cabinets..... He is a terrible business man along with his partner [redacted]. If possible, I could give you a tour of our kitchen.Desired Settlement: Please help us get our money back. Thank you
