When shopping online with this store, I was given a discount automatically in my cart and then applied a discount code for a sale they were advertising. I completed my purchase without incident. I later received an email that the store was not honoring the advertised prices of the garments in my cart that I was originally given. I was told a refund was processed, however, my bank has no record of this. I reached out to customer service and was told they advertised too cheap of price and that they would give me the garments at a more expensive rate. This is false advertisement and I am extremely displeased that the store would not honor the rate they originally offered and that my funds are being held up due to their choice not to honor what I was originally given.
In response to a complaint by customer *** that shopped our website and complained we did not honor our offered sales price. We have attached a copy of what was being offered. Our website had a technical glitch, which we explained to the customer, causing her sale to be discounted at more than the 50% advertised. It actually gave her a discount of more than 80%. We immediately caught the glitch and processed a refund for the full amount to the customer. The refund can take up to a few days to clear off her credit card. We also offered to run a new transaction for her at the advertised 50% off but she refused. As a business we did everything correct. It is unfortunate that the customer felt she is entitled to such a deep discount when it was an honest mistake. We take our customer service very serious.
