over two hours from the time they left. At this time my manager had them call me on my cell phone and I agreed to meet them at 8:00PM when I had my Maintenance Tech already scheduled to be there for some preventative maintenance work. My Maintenance Tech Jeff F[redacted] of [redacted] tried to explain to them why the carwash was not capable of putting that kind of slash in the tire and then we showed them the video of the car going through seeing nothing unusual in the process. We explained that 221 cars had gone thru that day without incident but all of this was to no avail. I explained the rear movement of the car was from the corallator and roller assembly that aligns the rear of the car with the track, all tunnel carwashes have these. Anybody I know in the carwash business will tell you that my carwash is one of the best maintained carwashes in the area. Last year I spent 32,464.21 on new equipment. The Track that the car traveled thru on was built and installed by [redacted] in November of 2014 and has processed over 50 thousand cars since without incident. I wash Clackamas County Sheriff and Oregon State Police cars on a daily basis and have not had any complaints in 18years. I truly believe without doubt that they struck something on the highway after leaving my car wash. This looked like a common road hazard cut cause by hitting some object on the highway at a normal cruising speed. They sat at my Vacuums for around 18 minutes and tire was fine when they left. I have no problem with any expert in the field inspecting my carwash and equipment to see that is kept up to the highest standards.
