I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Contact information for ***'s claims adjusters were included with the total loss reportI have also contacted *** for further information and will again to forward Pinnacle's insurance informationAlso, while my representative may have raised her voice, she was professional and no profanity was usedThe fire safety recall for the Trailblazer is in regards to the power window control, and the Trailblazer in question was not included in this recall, per online check of the VIN#The VIN# should also be included in the insurance information provided to the business, so they can also verify this. The source of the fire to the Trailblazer in question was the bottom of the engine, not the door, thus it would appear that this recall issue could not be the cause of the fireIncidentally, the flames coming from underneath the engine and being seen through the wheel wells, would seem to be in the general area that work was completedInsurance covers the cost to replace the vehicle, but does not include the additional $in repairs made just days prior to the vehicle fireIn the mean time, I am still responsible for the loan I had to take out to complete the repairs While I am waiting for ***'s official findings on the cause of the fire, the fact of the matter remains that the Trailblazer never caught fire in the years before Pinnacle Auto worked on the vehicle, yet did catch fire just days after working on the vehicleThis all seems very unlikely to be just a coincidence, and I feel that it is reasonable to assume that after paying for $in repairs, I would have had a vehicle that was safe to operate

Review: I am writing to inform you of an issue I had with Pinnacle Auto in Pittsburgh, PA. I had previously taken my 2004 Trailblazer in when I noticed a rubbing sound while driving. After they inspected the vehicle, I was informed I needed a new front differential. After the repairs (which came to nearly $2500), I noticed the sound was still present. I returned the vehicle and they then advised it was the wheel bearing, which I paid an additional $300 for. I questioned then questioned the repair to the differential, as that was not the issue I brought it in for. they assured me it was bad, so they replaced it, but could not tell me exactly what the problem was and that they had returned the bad differential for the core already. 3 weeks later, and less than 500 miles of driving, the vehicle caught fire in the under carriage on my way home from work. Luckily neither myself or any bystanders were injured, as it occurred on a busy street. It is common knowledge that a dirrerential is known to catch on fire if not installed properly.

My insurance then declared the vehicle a total loss. I did receive a check to cover the cost of the vehicle, but the recent $2800 in repairs were not included in this figure. I have contacted the manager of Pinnacle Auto, Zack, in regards to this, and provided him the police report number and insurance paperwork showing the vehicle was a total loss. I also asked for reimbursement of the cost of repairs. They have since declined, so I am reaching out to you to advise on what appears to me to be negligent work and avoidance of responsibility.Desired Settlement: I would like reimbursed for the $2800.00 that were paid for the repairs.
