I am rejecting this response because: I informed them that my insurance had changed and gave them my new card when I arrived for my first visit back in That is always the first thing I do whenever when entering a doctor's office They were given my card and I paid a co-pay for the visit I gave them my new card each visit, but they neglected to tell me that I was not covered until six months later, when I received a $bill The front desk should have let me know I was not covered This is negligent on their part I made sure to tell them I had switched coverage and also checked they were using my new card They gave no indication there was a problem and continued to take co-pays from me as if I was covered I feel like that is sneaky I would never had continued to go if I knew I was not covered

We received a complaint from one of our patients that was seen in 2015 was not seen in 2016 and return in 2017. When patient return the office was not informed that patients medical insurance changed. We check insurance for patients on Navinet during the time the patient was be seen his horizon...

insurance was still coming up as active. We did not know that it was inactive until we received denied EOBs. Once we received these Eobs patient was informed that services were being denied. We sent him a copy of the denied claims and also inquired about new insurance. It was not until 9/5/2017 patient gave us a copy of new insurance card which after looking into this plan was active as of 2016. After receiving complaint from Revdex.com I the office manager was informed of this issue and have since had the billing manager resubmit all claims to the correct insurance and are now waiting on payment from insurance. I left a detailed voice mail for patient to explain this but have not received any return calls. During the time this patient was being seen he should have been getting denied claims from the insurance we were billing and should have let us know that his insurance changed.
