Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,*** *** I will not even attempt to dignify Mr***'s statements with a response, except to say he is both a liar and dillusional. Two other households on our street also had the mispleasure of hiring Mr***'s company to do their landscaping/construction, and they both totally regret hiring Pinnacle...that Mr*** and Mr*** are unprofessional, unpleasant to deal with, and are unscrupulous. I stand by everything stated in the previous complaint. Furthermore, anyone who hires this company to do anything is asking for nothing but trouble, stress, and unpleasantness. They should not be in businees. Buyer beware!

RE: Response to Your Attached Letter - ID [redacted] (Second Response)
Dear [redacted] & San Diego Revdex.com:
We have reviewed the second response by the client dated 24 March 2015.
Since the second client response only contains opinions and there are no additional valid requests fromthe client, we do not see any action needed on our part.
Again, we invite any potential client reading this to view all the original documentation and decidefor them self. We are confident the truth will prevail.
Sincerely,[redacted]President

RE: Your Attached Letter - ID [redacted]
Dear [redacted] & San Diego Revdex.com:
We are pleased to provide the following response below and welcome anyone...

reading this to inspectthe supporting documents. The 3 "Fixes" requested by the client are already complete or not covered under the contractwarranty. Specifically:
1. The paint touch up has already been completed.
2. The very minor chips along the concrete seam are not uncommon and excluded from warranty by contract reference. (See Attachment 1 ). We would also like to point out that after installing the concrete;the client sent us an email saying how pleased they were with the result (See Attachment 2). 3. The pavers were installed properly and we have already power washed the client's paver area twicewithout charge at their request. Sweeping up minor amounts of loose sand / dirt months after the paverinstallation is maintenance and the responsibility of the homeowner.
Additionally, we DID NOT "short change" the client on pool tile or mulch: The truth is: 1. Pool Tile: The client signed a contract change order and paid for the additional pool tile theywanted ... but were mad because we would not do the work for free. (See Attachment 3). 2. Mulch: We delivered the amount of mulch promised which was an "estimated" amount (SeeAttachment 4). Estimated means estimated ... and that more or less could be needed. In fact, theclient offered to pay us for additional mulch and plants, but we declined the extra work due to theirpayment history and the challenge level of working with the client . (See Attachment 5).
Finally, we DID NOT "essentially abandoned the job" or not complete a ''walk through" with the client.
The truth is that the completion of the job was delayed by the client because: 1. The client failed to make contract payments on time which forced us to delay and stop work.(See email and Certified Letter to client, Attachments 6 & 7) 2. The client delayed vital decisions for months. For example, the client delayed choosinghundreds of plants for 3 months and then delayed choosing their planting locations for almost 6 weeksafter they were delivered (causing dozens of plants to die, which we replaced for free as a courtesy). 3. The client ignored many requests to meet with us to discuss minor issues or work throughdifferences. Instead they chose to respond almost exclusively by text and email.
In Summary, we provided everything required under our contract plus at least $2,000 of additionalgoods and services without charge ..... all while working through the difficult challenges above.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide a response.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: For the record, let me state that in all our years, my wife and I have never enountered more unpleasant, unprofessional, and unscrupulous people as the principles involved, [redacted] and [redacted]. They succeeded in making our pool/landscaping project a living nightmare. In addition to going weeks at a time without contacting us despite numerous e-mails, they deliberately short-changed us on both the pool tile and the mulch designated for the front yard. They essentially abandoned the job. They did not have the professionalism to do a walk-thru with us.There are three items they must fix:1. The workers damaged the front gate...it needs touch up paint; we were told it would be taken care of; as of Feb 24 2015 it has not.2. The strip between the pavers and the concrete in the backyard is unacceptable. There are chips of concrete all along the strip and we have told them many times that it needs to be fixed. It is NOT a color variation as they claim, and in our opinion this item is not closed.3. The pavers left in their present condition are unacceptable. As the [redacted] rep will attest, ALL pavers, but especially in the courtyard, need to be swept of excessive sand and then washed. And they were NOT power washed on the final day the workers were here. This item is NOT closed.Desired Settlement: They need to come back RIGHT AWAY and fix the three itmes listed above. Otherwise it will be a matter for the courts.
