I ordered a replacement remote control [redacted] online through Remote Controls Center.com on 9-20-I never received a confirmation or email about this orderSince I put it on my debit card was concernedI then left a voicemail at the number provided (XXX-XXX-XXXX) and sent an email to [redacted] on 9-21-These were provided on the websiteOn X-I called the same number and was connected to someone who said they worked for New Remotes.comShe said they were affiliated with the other companyShe said she couldn't find an order using my last nameThen she asked what I orderedShe then advised it was discontinuedShe insisted this was "standard" meaning no communication what so everI told her I was concerned about my credit card (debit card) information and she said since they didn't have my order they didn't have my credit card informationShe then said she was ending the conversation and hung up! I received an email regarding an item I did not order and my credit card was charged without my knowledge or authorization
I placed an order for a Yamaha TV remote control from ***mI received an email today stating that my order was cancelled because the item was no longer available and my credit card would not be chargedLater in the day I received an email from "New Remote, Inc" confirming an order/transaction for a Mitsubishi remoteI did not place any order with this company; nor did I authorize this purchaseThis company has charged my account and used my personal information without my consent

This company misrepresents its merchandise, and knowingly sells customers the wrong item The company has had multiple complaints for doing this
I ordered an item based on picture, model number, and description I received a totally different itemdifferent manufacturer, different model number, entire different item which was totally different than the item pictured When I called the company they told me they knew what they sent me was different They deliberately sent me something I did not order, and made no effort to contact me, explain, or ask if I would accept something different Even now, well after our communication they continue to list the wrong model number with the wrong picture on their website This unethical, unprofessional, and perhaps illegal practice is the company's constant business practice They have had multiple complaints filed against them for the same offense

Electronic Adventures sent a remote control other than the one I ordered and won't give me a full refundThe one they sent is useless
On 9/9/I ordered a replacement remote control for a mini-split air conditioner that was listed and pictured on their websiteI received a 'universal' remote instead of the one I ordered with a note saying to try it before I send it backIt had no instructions and was useless in any case Upon sending it back, there was no refund givenThey said it never arrived, but fortunately, I kept the signature receipt and they gave me a partial refundI asked for the return shipping cost of $since they sent me something I didn't buy and they won't refund thatThis is a scam and they need to be reported

They advertise original, and I emphasize "original" OEM replacement remotes for your TV But they ship you an alternative remote without disclosing
I ordered from this company Nov 5th order number XXXXXX remote model N2QAYBXXXXXX I will post two links from the company that clearly show and indicate they have this original model OEM remote and it is the one you are ordering
When the package arrived the remote included was a different model The package included a letter that indicated the original model N2QAYBXXXXXX was discontinued so they substituted a similar model that hopefully works and if it doesn't to return it I will include a link to an image picturing my original OEM remote (N2QAYBXXXXXX) and the imitation remote that they delivered
In good faith I tried the new remote on my TV Had it worked I would have accepted the remote and been only slightly upset that it wasn't original Unfortunately this remote only worked for basic functions like on off, menu, and
