offered us a $[redacted] less than asking price and was aware the vehicle was sold as is with no warranty, no safety inspection and no service history, no refunds and also was recommended by us to take it to a 3rd party to have looked at so he would know exactly what was needed to pass mvi or any other issues that may be present. We did not guarantee anything on the car as it has over 200,000 km's and a check engine light on. The customer decided not to take it to a 3rd party to have inspected prior to sale and signed our Pre-owned Vehicle Waiver stating that 1. The vehicle is sold with no MVI 2.There is no warranty implied or expressed 3.Dealer recommends to have it inspected by a 3rd party at another location. The customer also initialed on the Bill of Sale that the vehicle is sold "as is with no warranty". The customer has since priced up parts for the vehicle at Audi and the parts were $[redacted]+tax. We helped the customer out on the parts for $[redacted] +taxes. We have provided the customer with $[redacted] less than we were asking on the purchase and savings on the parts of $[redacted]. This is unfortunate this has happened but the customer understood at the time of sale the vehicle and conditions he was purchasing it under as we sell vehicles with full disclosure that we do not warrant anything on the vehicle and will not even sell it with a safety inspection sticker.
