Review: Pinnacle Plumbling failed to provide a proper (and honest) assessment of services, causing my warranty claim to be denied.

Pinnacle Plumbling was contracted out to repair a broken pipe on our bathtub. Upon arriving, the serviceman immediately expressed concern about the size and complexity of the job. After a short time of assessing the damage, however, he proposed a plan for repair and assured me that he would then take the necessary steps to make those repairs. He then promptly requested that I pay a 60 dollar service request fee and that he would then make arrangements for the repairs. Prior to leaving, he stated: "You'll hear something within a couple of hours."

I did not hear back from the serviceman, or Pinnacle Plumbling, for the next 48 hours. I tried calling them on several occasions, leaving a number of messages, and they never returned my call.

With that, I decided to call the insurance company to find out what was going on. They then made several calls to Pinnacle Plumbing before finally contacting someone a day later. At that point, Pinnacle Plumbing informed the insurance company that it was their opinion that the damage to our bathtub was not something that would be covered. They further explained that they did not call or follow up on the matter because of that determination.

Pinnacle Plumbling acted dishonestly, unprofessionally, and failed to extend even the slightest courtesy to those who had contracted them out, and the subsequent customer (my family and myself). Desired Settlement: Because of Pinnacle Plumbling dishonest assessment, I now have to make arrangements for repairs myself, repairs that otherwise would have been covered by our home warranty. I feel Pinnacle Plumbling should cover those costs.

Review: [redacted] from Pinnacle [redacted] came to my home to inspect my water heater because I have a home warranty and they were contracted and assigned to my claim. When [redacted] arrived at my home he inspected the water heater and said it needed to have the pilot light turned back on and then we would wait for fifteen minutes or so and see how the water heats up. [redacted] informed me that since the water heater is still struggling to heat up the water he recommends it be replaced and that he would like to collect my deductible and then he will call my warranty company and be right back. I asked [redacted] what if other parts are needed wouldn't there be an additional cost he informed me that he would let me know but for now just the deductible is needed. He used my restroom while he was here then he took my deductible and said I will be right back. I was waiting and waiting and then I get a call from my warranty company that [redacted] from Pinnacle [redacted] advised that the water heater was in good working order and that he just needed to turn on the pilot light. This man and company are completely dishonest and took my money and lied to me. I informed the warranty company what [redacted] explained to me and they were disturbed by this. I called and emailed Pinnacle [redacted] after [redacted] left and never received a response, even my realtor contacted them with no response. My warranty sent another contractor who suggested it be replaced right away and they installed a new water heater because of its inefficiency to heat water and calcium build up. My water heater was replaced by [redacted] who did an outstanding job. I am writing this because I don't want any other customers to get this service from Pinnacle [redacted]. This person and service are very dishonest and fail to respond to their customers and I am still upset that they took my Sixty dollars and cashed my check but never addresses my concerns. I will make sure that word of mouth goes along way with this type of business.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my sixty dollars because they don't deserve payment for the horrible dishonest service they provided.
