My being forced to pay their outrageous charge is because I live on social security, have no ability to hire a lawyer,  and cannot afford to have my credit score lowered by their "extortion".So I paid it.  No chance for me I guess.

One of our Associates has been in contact via e-mail with Mr. [redacted] and provided him with a copy of the original bill.  Mr. [redacted] has confirmed that our Associate's proposed resolution is acceptable.

Our initial position has not changed, but I would like to provide further information.  I have attached the Billing and Collection Policy for the resort where Mr. [redacted] owns.  Please refer to the July 1st section where it indicates that unpaid accounts are sent to a collection agency and additional fees are added to each past due account.  As a one-time customer service accommodation for Mr. [redacted], we discounted these fees by 50%.  He did agree to this amount via e-mail and paid the account in full.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance. Sincerely,[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] did pay for a deed in lieu of foreclosure on March 3, 2017.  The settlement is contingent on providing a tax clearance letter and executing and notarizing deed in lieu documents.  We remitted funds to our client on March 8, 2017 and reported the account as a paid collection....

 Our client has confirmed that they have forwarded the account to the homeowners association attorney for deed preparation.  The attorney confirmed on May 11, 2017 that they have the file but have not sent the required paperwork to the [redacted] as they are waiting for a title report and tax clearance letter.  The attorney contact information follows in case the [redacted] wish to contact directly:[redacted]Office Manager and Paralegal to [redacted] H. [redacted]  [redacted]Since the documentation has not been completed, our client canceled the account and reassigned with the addition of the current year dues.  We have put the account on hold while the required paperwork is completed.  The account will be canceled as soon as the process is complete.  We have not provided any credit reporting information on this account.

We reviewed our call activity and found several
discrepancies between Ms. [redacted]’s complaint and our records. Ms. [redacted] did not speak with [redacted] as she indicates in her complaint.Ms. [redacted] did not inform any of our collection associates
that she was having a health crisis nor did...

she request that 911 be called as
she states in her complaint.Ms. [redacted] indicated to two different associates that she had a
neighbor that “is a drug dealer, lives two doors down the street, right next to
a cop’s house”  that was stealing her
mail.  In her complaint she indicates
that our associate “claimed the police officer who lives near me stole my mail
when told we had a mail theft issue.” 
Despite the false allegations, our Director of Collection
Operations has reached out to Ms. [redacted] in an attempt to resolve her
account.  Their most recent conversation
was earlier today and was pleasant.  Ms.
[redacted] is going to provide documentation of a previous payment so that we can
resolve the account and return to our client.

We have removed Mr. [redacted]'s address from our system and placed his phone number on our do not call list.

Pinnacle Recovery, Inc. (Pinnacle) does show Mr. [redacted]'s account as active.  Our Director of Collection Operations contacted Mr. [redacted] and reviewed our telephone logs.  We believe the calls Mr. [redacted] placed were to the incorrect company.  We do not find any record of incoming...

calls from his number on the dates he reports calling.  We do believe we have satisfactorily resolved Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.  He has post dated payments on file to pay his account in full.

Our company name is Pinnacle Recovery, Inc.  We only service timeshare/vacation ownership and education accounts. We have no healthcare clients and we do not purchase debt.  We have no association with Integrity Solution Services or Laboratory Corporation of America.  There is an unrelated collection agency with the name Pinnacle Credit Services and perhaps they are the agency handling this account.

Attached please find a letter confirming that Mr. [redacted]'s account is paid in full with the amount assigned to our office and returned to our client.  The account was not submitted to the credit reporting agency.   I apologize for directing our calls and correspondence to Mr. [redacted]'s...
