The ad should have ran ground chuck for $a lb (with purchase of 5lbs or more.) We made a mistake I called the Register Star Monday morning and a retraction ad was ran Tuesday morning with the corrected price $a lbI think that it was Monday or TuesdayA gentleman came in with the coupon to buy lbs of ground chuck for the $a lb price It was explained to him that there had been a mistake in the paper and that the sale price is $a lbThe gentleman then said "That is not my problem" and that "We MUST honor the advertised mistaken price." I told him if I did that then Pinnon's would be losing moneyAgain he said "That is not my problem" I told him "If a new corvette was advertised for $49,and it was printed in the paper for $that they would have to sell the car for that price(He had no reaction) Then he proceeded to say "if we did not sell the ground chuck fpr $a lb he would call the B.B.BI looked at him and said "if you think we ran an ad to mislead or bait & switch the customer that is not the case" It was only a human mistake Best regards [redacted] Pinnon's Meats
