PinPoint Properties Reviews (1)

William [redacted] (of Pinpoint Properties) sold us a home in Nashville through his development group in November 2014 Synergy Development. Prior to closing, [redacted] and his builder at the time Hank [redacted] made various assurances including that we could expect to see them regularly to deal with Warranty issues, etc.

Communication after [redacted] received our money became extremely difficult. Hank, the contractor, was hard to reach, or would make promises to fix things and appointments he would not show up for. Only when I would get angry and have a confrontation with either of them would one of them show up. There were only 3 total times in the first year in which they actually came and worked on Warranty issues. A vast majority of our warranty issues are still pending and it has been over a year. There are enough legitimate warranty items that this has become a major issue. Many of these issues were submitted to them in writing within 1 month of moving into the house. I would say for every 5 to 6 calls, e-mails, and texts that i'd send them, they would respond with 1. Hank [redacted] has since left due to their dysfunctional relationship. Hank often cited William, who he repeatedly referred to as cheap, as the reason our issues weren't being addressed. Hank has now left, and William continues to be negligent in his warranty obligations. We are currently discussing our options with our legal representation in how to deal with William.

Per William, he is currently in the process of getting out of the construction business, and he has more "mission critical" things to do than work on warranty issues. This clearly means he needs to sell houses and make money and that trumps his legal obligations to cover warranty issues. Be very wary when buying a house from him. He was negligent when he still employed the full time contractor that built his houses. Now, unless William has been lying to me, he does not have a Contractor under contract, so I cannot imagine a situation in which he will improve in his ability to meet warranty obligations. If you do end up purchasing from Pinpoint Properties or [redacted] I would highly suggest taking steps to protect yourself such as insisting on keeping a large sum of money in escrow until after Warranty obligations are met. While this is a very unconventional thing to do, I do not see any way in which William Wood will act in good faith unless he has money on the line.

Feel free to leave a comment if you are considering buying a home from WIlliam [redacted] of pinpoint properties and would like to discuss our experience further. He truly has done everything possible to make our Warranty experience a nightmare.
