This letter is in in response to the complaint filed in your office from [redacted] Ms [redacted] indicates that we fraudulently tricked her into a whole life insurance policy that she did not want to purchase and that her account had been drafted for over nine months without her knowledge.Ms [redacted] applied for and was issued a $10,Independent American life insurance policy issued July 3, 2016.Enclosed is a copy of the voice signature Application for Life Insurance, Statement of Understanding,Authorization for the Release of Medical Records and other related forms for your reviewWe have also attached the voice recording of Ms [redacted] accepting the coverage and authorizing the draft to her account.Once the application was received in our office, a letter dated June 14, was mailed to her thanking her for allowing Pioneer American the opportunity to provide for her life insurance needs (copy enclosed)Once the policy was approved, the policy contract was mailedEnclosed a copy of the mailing page from the policy contract showing the policy was mailed directly to her home addressThe policy came with a day free look period She had days from the date of receiving the policy contract to return it to us if she was any way dissatisfied with the policy Had she done so, the policy would have been canceled as of the issue date and any premium paid would have been refundedShe did not exercise this option; therefore, a refund of premiums is not due Ms [redacted] 's policy has been cancelled per her phone call to our office on March 7, Enclosed is a copy of the confirmation letter that was mailed to her for your review

This letter is in response to the complaint received in your office from *** *** *** applied for and was issued a $10, *** ** *** whole life insurance policy on April , Enclosed is a copy of the life insurance application with related forms, Apptical phone interview and
signed Policy Receipt .Premiums for the policy were mailed to our office each month from ** * ***The last payment was received December 12, to pay the October , premiumWhen the November 18, premium was not received and the policy reached the end of the grace period the policy lapsedA Notice of Lapsed Policy was mailed advising of this (copy enclosed) .We did not receive anything from ** * *** requesting cancellation until April 9, after the policy had already lapsed for non-payment (copy enclosed) .The signed Policy Receipt shows ** * *** received her policy on June 15? .The policy contract came with a day free look period.** * *** had days from the date of receiving the policy contract to return it to us if she was any way dissatisfied with the policy.Had she done so the policy would have been cancelled as of the issue date and any premiums paid would have been refunded.She did not exercise this option; therefore, a refund of premium is not due .If you have any questions please contact rue at *** *** ***? or by email at *** ***?

signature Application for Life Insurance, Statement of Understanding,Authorization for the Release of
Medical Records and other related forms for your review. We have also attached
the voice recording of Ms. [redacted] accepting the coverage and authorizing the
draft to her account.Once the application was received

day free look period She had 30 days from the date of receiving the policy
contract to return it to us if she was any way dissatisfied with the policy.

any premium paid would have been refunded. She did not exercise this option;
therefore, a refund of premiums is not due Ms. [redacted]'s policy has been
cancelled per her phone call to our office on March 7, 2017. Enclosed is a copy
of the confirmation letter that was mailed to her for your review.
