supplied you with some inaccurate information regarding the transactions that appear to be the subject of his complaintOur customer wrote two checks on September 20th and 21st totaling $At 9:30pm on September 21st, before these checks cleared, the balance in his account was $After the $141,cleared on September 22nd, the account was overdrawn $Our customer's direct deposit was received on September This customer has never established overdraft protection with Pioneer Bank, therefore pursuant to our fee schedule, overdraft charges of $were assessed on September 23.We have attached copies of his account activity.Since 2014, Pioneer Bank has refunded four (out of 25) of this customers NSF fees, as a courtesyWe offer overdraft protection with various loan agreements and supplemental accounts, but this customer has not elected to pursue such protection.After reviewing the complaint, as well as this customer's account history, we have determined the fees incurred were valid and will not be refunded.Juliana H***Vice President/ Marketing DirectorPioneer Bank

I have attached two (2) response letters to *** *** regarding his complaint. After reviewing his account activity, I am certain that after we have an opportunity to review his account information personally with him, we will all be able to take care of his concerns regarding his account. As my letter states, some debits were purchased and some checks were written prior to his automatic deposits processing in his account. *** *** had also signed an “Opt-in” statement on 5-3-with the bank requesting that we pay any overdrafts on his account. I also reviewed his signature on any processed checks for possible fraudulent signatures. If you need any additional information, I have a file of “working” papers that support my response to *** ***

I have met with [redacted] this morning at 9:00 AM and we have resolved his issues and concerns regarding his DDA account with us.  We refunded some of his overdraft fees, explained how over drafts and NSF transactions are processed, and are meeting with him again to help him start a check register that has an up to date and correct balance.   Please let me know if you have any questions or if I need to provide you with any additional information. Thank you, Belinda T[redacted]VP, COO, CCBCOPioneer Bank
