Subject: RE: Complaint # [redacted] Good morning ***, I am responding to the complaint by [redacted] for the address of [redacted] WA This all began between two neighbors who had a rotting and falling down fence between them This Fence had been there for years [redacted] the neighbor who she shares this fence with rents his property and house out We corresponded several times throughout emails and at one point we almost told [redacted] we were not interested This is a LF run of Fence that needed to be removed and re-installed Her half of that is $with Tax [redacted] the neighbor paid his portion and would have regardless of the Fence line immediately He is paid in full.We try to contact the customer to let them know that we are heading to their house This non confirmed project wen on so long that when they finally came to an agreement to confirm the project we pushed it forward on our jobs list so it didn’t have to sit another months This estimate originally started when [redacted] sent pictures over At that time, she was asking about going around each and every tree because she was losing 1’ if less on her fence line However, that fence line was there before she purchased her house originallyOur employees went over removed the fence and set posts Those posts were in the ground the day before we went back to start installing the rails and the pickets She stated to [redacted] on the phone AFTER the project was done that she saw our guys there out her window but they never came up to her door We questioned her if she saw what they were doing why didn’t she come out her back door and say something or express her concerns or ask questions? There was no response except that our guys should have come to her door.Once our employees were over there and saw the Trees and how old they are and the root line from them they knew at that point there was no way that they could dig holes and safely install metal posts where those roots were That could have damaged the roots and worst of all caused long term problems for those trees [redacted] started calling AFTER the project was completed and spoke with [redacted] who both probably should have hung up the phone once neither one of them were getting anywhere in the conversation She continued to threated that she would pass the word on everywhere that we are horrible and even after [redacted] hung up the first time she continued to call him At that point he told her fine he would come over and take it down since there was no resolution ideas from her except to complain and threaten Yes he knows we would not have been taking down the fence and we know that is not a legal way or professional way of dealing with customers like this She then started emailing me consistently and I explained that we were taking down the Fence and the reason why the fence was the way it was I had to actually ask her to not contact either of us again because it was out of control I sent her a certified letter and non-certified which I am happy to send to you explaining the situation of the trees I offered to move this fence at our cost if she could get from an arborist a letter of release that if we were to start drilling into these tree roots that it would not damage these trees or have long term effects on them We also asked her for her ideas to resolve this matter At this point she has not paid anything towards her Invoice and apparently has no plans to do so.In over years she is only of customers that we have had any sort of situation with that apparently had no intent in paying her portion in the first place I have nurmerous pictures, emails and the final letter that I sent her and I’m more than happy to send them to you I have attached a few pictures of the tree line so you understand I should also mention that this new portion of fence is in line with the rest of the fence You will see in one of the pictures she didn’t want to pay to have the entire fun of the rotting fence replaced only the parts that were falling down I am more than happy to correspond with you and send you anything you would like Thank you for taking the time to listen to our side of this situation

We are so very frustrating at this point [redacted] is all over anything and everything she can get online and post horrible comments Until last night she was still unable to offer up a resolution and this is the last thing she posted: I have decided that I would be happy to come in and pay my half for the straight line fence quote only because another fence company employee told me that the fence should last many years, not because it was done the way I askedBut first I require an apology to be posted by [redacted] and [redacted] for not doing what I asked for nor informing me in advance that it would be done differently and for the aweful way that I have been treatedI would like to put this behind me even though I am in the right and can prove itDo you? For her to demand an apology to be posted and to admit we have treated her badly is completely insane The ONLY thing we are going to apologize for is not knocking on her door to let her know as a reputable company we can NOT go around the trees as she is requesting without HER paying for an Arborist to do a inspection and write up his/her findings and recommendationsWe stand by our work, we carry a year workmanship warranty with all of our installs and we feel she got the BEST Fence that she could have hoped for She has stated on Social Media that she has hired someone that she likes very much who has done no work for her at this time but continues to bad mouth us There are two choices, either the fence gets paid for and we are asking that she send in a cashier's check only and to NOT step foot in our business due to her disrespect and outbursts Otherwise if she chooses not to pay for her portion of the fence then we will file a lien This will truly be the only lien we will have had to file in years of being in Business Again the only thing we as a company whether it be myself, [redacted] or our installers are apologizing for is not Knocking on her Door or putting her job aside until she could resolve the Tree Issue Because in regards to the Installation itself, we would not have done anything different On top of that she has superior Fence Pickets (not found in our area except from us) and we take great care of our customers So at this time I am asking that this be closed I am going to refrain from replying to anything that we are seeing or hearing about on social media as well as here at Revdex.com This is a dead conversation we believe at this point now

Hello,I got an email this morning that this complaint was closed because I had not responded I don't remember ever seeing a response from the company, but I may have missed it because I have been working long hours days a week and I have kids so I have not been checking my email very regularly I wanted to address a few things that the Fence company left out or mislead about They talk about my neighbor [redacted] , who paid his half for the fence, but they don't mention that [redacted] lives in Florida and has not seen the fence in or area in years He rents the property out I think he just paid them so he would not have to deal with it anymore, but when I talked to him about it he said he agreed with me that it was not right how they did things and how they treated me They say that they tried to contact me before coming out to do the work This is not true at all as my phone would have shown their number I asked in email that they meet me at the site to make sure it was being done right and was told that they would do that The told me a day that they were coming and I took time off work to be there but they never showed up They did this again and did not show up and then one day I noticed that it was done and done wrong The fence is on the side of the house where there is only one window on the second strory that has a large tub in the way I rarely see that side of my house or the fence there They say I was asking to go around the trees to keep from loosing 1' of property, but that is not the real reason The real reason is that the trees put pressure on the fence which is what caused it to fall in the first place The fence is not up against these large growing trees with no room for growth I have many emails showing that they said they would go around the trees and leave room for growth They never informed me before finishing the project that it had to be done differently even though it is entirely on my property I think it was just easier to do it the way they did and for whatever reason they did not see fit to let me know They say that I said I saw their guys out the window working on the fence and made no attempt to come out and discuss the work with them That is not true as I was working while they were doing this They told me that they saw someone looking out the window and assumed it was me, but I have a year old daughter that could easily been mistaken for me She is the one who told me the fence was up which is how I knew since I rarely see that area on that side of the house I did ask why they didn't come to the door to talk to someone before starting work as was promised because my kids said no one came to the door, but I was not home anyway They never mentioned the tree roots being a problem until after the work was done I think somehow they thought they could get away with this because [redacted] who originally set this up live in Florida and even though I live here and it is on my property they treated me as if I have no say and just have to pay my half When I called [redacted] about this he immediately started yelling at me and treatening to come out and tear down the fence He was so threatening that I was afraid to leave my children alone the next day so that I could go to work so I stayed with them I was afraid he would come to my house to yell at me and my children would be scared If all emails were forwarded to you you would see that I was only asking for a resolution and only threatened to leave bad reviews about the company because that is what consumers do when they are treated badly like this, but they were not as what the company has made out I asked that they do the fence right and was told that I was harrassing them and not to contact them again so I have not and have gone throught other means such as Revdex.com They also say that I did not want to pay to have the entire run of the rotting fence replaced and that is not true either Until the job was done I thought it was the entire run of the fence that was being done, but I guess because the neighbor was involved I was not aware of everything that he had discussed with them The fact that the entire side was not done was another thing I was unhappy about, but I had to assume that this was the plan they made with [redacted] that I was left out of but still expected to pay my half What it comes down to is I have all the emails showing what they said they would do They did something completely different and then expected to be paid anyway They never informed me that they were going to do something different ahead of time and are just making up excuses now They asked me to get an arborist to certify, but that costs extra money and takes time that someone with my schedule has not had yet I have the money to pay for this, but I won't pay until they do what they said they would because they should have informed me ahead of time if it could not be done as they say I am working on bringing out a couple of other fence companies to get their opinion and if the tell me that it can be done I may have one of them do it right and do the whole run as I originally wanted and I will not pay pioneer unless they do it right I hope this clears up my side of the issue I can assure you that they have no evidence that anything other than what I say is true Our correspondence was almost entirely by email and the only phone call was after they did it wrong and then I was told not to call or email because they considered any correspondence harrassment Also you can see from the pictures they sent that the trees are right up agianst the fence leaving no room for growth Who would ask to have that done?I hope that this case can be re opened I think the public deserves to know how this company operates

Revdex.com: I would like to reject the offer of Arbitration for complaint ID [redacted] I do not have the money to pay for arbitration on top of the possibility of paying for the fence too This is a very simple case where they did not deliver on their promise and refuse to make it right Sincerely, [redacted]

Subject: RE: Complaint # [redacted]Good morning [redacted], I am responding to the complaint by [redacted] for the address of [redacted] WA.  This all began between two neighbors who had a rotting and falling down fence between them.  This Fence had been there for years....

[redacted] the neighbor who she shares this fence with rents his property and house out.  We corresponded several times throughout emails and at one point we almost told [redacted] we were not interested.  This is a 36 LF run of Fence that needed to be removed and re-installed.  Her half of that is $585.36 with Tax.  [redacted] the neighbor paid his portion and would have regardless of the Fence line immediately.  He is paid in full.We try to contact the customer to let them know that we are heading to their house.  This non confirmed project wen on so long that when they finally came to an agreement to confirm the project we pushed it forward on our jobs list so it didn’t have to sit another 2 months.  This estimate originally started when [redacted] sent pictures over.  At that time, she was asking about going around each and every tree because she was losing 1’ if less on her fence line.  However, that fence line was there before she purchased her house originally. Our employees went over removed the fence and set posts.  Those posts were in the ground the day before we went back to start installing the rails and the pickets.  She stated to [redacted] on the phone AFTER the project was done that she saw our guys there out her window but they never came up to her door.  We questioned her if she saw what they were doing why didn’t she come out her back door and say something or express her concerns or ask questions?  There was no response except that our guys should have come to her door.Once our employees were over there and saw the Trees and how old they are and the root line from them they knew at that point there was no way that they could dig holes and safely install metal posts where those roots were.  That could have damaged the roots and worst of all caused long term problems for those trees.  [redacted] started calling AFTER the project was completed and spoke with [redacted] who both probably should have hung up the phone once neither one of them were getting anywhere in the conversation.  She continued to threated that she would pass the word on everywhere that we are horrible and even after [redacted] hung up the first time she continued to call him.  At that point he told her fine he would come over and take it down since there was no resolution ideas from her except to complain and threaten.  Yes he knows we would not have been taking down the fence and we know that is not a legal way or professional way of dealing with customers like this.  She then started emailing me consistently and I explained that we were taking down the Fence and the reason why the fence was the way it was.  I had to actually ask her to not contact either of us again because it was out of control.  I sent her a certified letter and non-certified which I am happy to send to you explaining the situation of the trees.  I offered to move this fence at our cost if she could get from an arborist a letter of release that if we were to start drilling into these tree roots that it would not damage these trees or have long term effects on them.  We also asked her for her ideas to resolve this matter.  At this point she has not paid anything towards her Invoice and apparently has no plans to do so.In over 24 years she is only 1 of 2 customers that we have had any sort of situation with that apparently had no intent in paying her portion in the first place.  I have nurmerous pictures, emails and the final letter that I sent her and I’m more than happy to send them to you.  I have attached a few pictures of the tree line so you understand.  I should also mention that this new portion of fence is in line with the rest of the fence.  You will see in one of the pictures she didn’t want to pay to have the entire fun of the rotting fence replaced only the parts that were falling down.  I am more than happy to correspond with you and send you anything you would like.  Thank you for taking the time to listen to our side of this situation.

We are so very frustrating at this point.  [redacted] is all over anything and everything she can get online and post horrible comments.  Until last night she was still unable to offer up a resolution and this is the last thing she posted:
I have decided that I would be happy to come in and pay my half for the straight line fence quote only because another fence company employee told me that the fence should last many years, not because it was done the way I asked. But first I require an apology to be posted by [redacted] and [redacted] for not doing what I asked for nor informing me in advance that it would be done differently and for the aweful way that I have been treated. I would like to put this behind me even though I am in the right and can prove it. Do you?
For her to demand an apology to be posted and to admit we have treated her badly is completely insane.  The ONLY thing we are going to apologize for is not knocking on her door to let her know as a reputable company we can NOT go around the trees as she is requesting without HER paying for an Arborist to do a inspection and write up his/her findings and recommendations. We stand by our work, we carry a 5 year workmanship warranty with all of our installs and we feel she got the BEST Fence that she could have hoped for.  She has stated on Social Media that she has hired someone that she likes very much who has done no work for her at this time but continues to bad mouth us.
There are two choices, either the fence gets paid for and we are asking that she send in a cashier's check only and to NOT step foot in our business due to her disrespect and outbursts.  Otherwise if she chooses not to pay for her portion of the fence then we will file a lien.  This will truly be the only lien we will have had to file in 24 years of being in Business.
Again the only thing we as a company whether it be myself, [redacted] or our installers are apologizing for is not Knocking on her Door or putting her job aside until she could resolve the Tree Issue.  Because in regards to the Installation itself, we would not have done anything different.  On top of that she has superior Fence Pickets (not found in our area except from us) and we take great care of our customers.  So at this time I am asking that this be closed.  I am going to refrain from replying to anything that we are seeing or hearing about on social media as well as here at Revdex.com.  This is a dead conversation we believe at this point now.
