I ordered three panels of true handmade mouth-blown wavy glass from Pioneer Glass for replacing glass panels in an antique RJ Horner winged lion mahogany bookcase. RJ Horner was an American furniture maker of the mid to late 1800s, and his furniture was considered of the highest quality of its time. The furniture maker only used the best qualities of materials in his cabinets, and my bookcases were no exception. The bookcase I ordered the glass for has a mate, a second RJ Horner bookcase, so it was imperative to find glass to match the second bookcase's original glass. So, the glass I needed was 3 matching panels of handmade mouth-blown glass either completely free of bubbles or having only one bubble maximum per panel, the glass had to be thinner than the standard of glass used in modern glass, and the glass had to be wavy-looking when in the right light. The three original panels of glass in the second bookcase has only 2 bubbles between the three panels of glass, so it was a must to find replacement glass free of bubbles or one bubble maximum per panel- any more than one bubble per panel would not have worked because I am a stickler for details!!! To my absolute amazement Pioneer Glass has different qualities of their antique replacement glass and different qualities of their mouth-blown glass because antique glass came in different qualities in the 1800s and earlier. When I initially completed Pioneer Glass' online inquiry form mentioning the type of glass I was wanting, within just minutes David, the president of the company, he called me to discuss my glass needs. From inquiry to delivery David was prompt to return my phone calls and emails, he fully explained the different types of glass I could order, and after describing the glass I needed David understood exactly what type of glass I needed for my bookcase. So, I placed my order and within just a few days my glass was ready for shipping. Please keep in mind handmade mouth-blown glass made in Poland takes weeks to fill an order! But, that was not the case with Pioneer Glass because they keep a large inventory of the glass on hand. I have been collecting antique furniture for decades and on many occasions had to order replacement glass. All of the replacement glass companies I had dealt with in the past sent me inferior glass and they took forever to fill my orders. Pioneer Glass, on the other hand, not only filled my order immediately, the merchant sent me PERFECT antique replacement glass ! The glass I received had the right (thin) thickness, had no bubbles, and it had just the right amount of waviness I needed to match my original bookcase's glass. (Keep in mind if I wanted more bubbles I would have ordered another quality of glass from Pioneer, so no bubbles was exactly what I wanted). As a collector and as picky as I am to match originality, I have to say Pioneer Glass is the first merchant in a very long time I feel I can always count on. Part of the reason why that is, David, the president of the company, takes a great deal of pride in his glass and his service. I give this merchant a 5-star rating which is 100% perfect in my eyes, and his rating could not be any higher!!

Pioneer Glass did a very good job coming out to my home and replacing a broken glass pane in the back door. They were courteous and quick.
The door looks as good as new. I would highly recommend them.

I just had a new shower door installed and I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship. The shower door looks like a custom install!!! And the price for the door including installation was terrific!

I highly recommend Pioneer Glass and I have plans to order more items from them.

My Pioneer Glass experience started when I entered the showroom, which displayed numerous high quality shower door designs. Shower doors were available in a variety of frames such as Antique, Bright Gold, Satin Nickle, Chrome and more. The shower door designs were wide-ranging from modest to the most elegant. I selected a fixed panel and sliding clear glass door trimmed in satin nickel; gorgeous! My shower tile is beautiful and I wanted that to be showcased by the shower door. The Shower Door tied it all together stunningly.
A simple process: Once my tile work was completed, I provided a rough measuring estimate and photos of my shower. I have a shower seat bench and a step entering into the shower with pebble stones matching the shower floor. A representative reviewed all possible styles and made suggestions to make my shower safe, functional and beautiful at the same time. A technician came out to the house and obtained exact measurements and attentively listened to my requests and concerns with respect.
The finish product was perfect. The sliding door track was precisely set not to cover the pebble stone design, while securing safety when entering the shower from either side. There was also a fixed panel installed over my shower seat. Very impressed!
The service was exceptional; the staff, Tom, David & Jake and others were professional, competent and true to their word. They came out when they said and finished the job in a timely manner.
I looked around at other shower installment companies including the big box stores. Pioneer Glass had the best prices and the expertise I was looking for.
I highly recommend this company; they will not disappoint!
