I just wanted to state that before I brought my daughter for Doctor Ami G***'s re-evaluation, I was informed I wouldn't be charged at all, neither for the re-filling, nor for the re-evaluationSo it seems to me that there is some miscommunication between their receptionists, doctors and hygienists and their billing department.Also, 3/28/was NOT the first time I called; I have received statements two or three times before then, and everyone said it had already been taken care of.Yes, I called the staff "amateur" for all the reasons mentioned aboveIf they are giving out this impression to me, I am sure they are giving out this impression to other patientsInstead of being angry at me, they should hire a consulting firm to let them know where the problem isAll they kept saying to me on the phone is that everyone is board certifiedwell, this shows they don't even have people skillsYou don't invalidate a costumer's comment by just defending yourself; you need to LISTEN to the costumer and try to understandThis business used to be run by professionals before; now they have changed the office manager, and the place is a messThe current office manager was their dental hygienist beforeShe may have been one of the best dental hygienist they had, but she has no people skills to work managing the business.Doctor Amy G*** didn't respect my request to be in the room with my daughter while the work was being done; she said she would wait for me, but she didn'tShe rushed to do the job, and didn't do it properlyI had to go back, my daughter had to go through pain again, and I had to deal with all the billing inconvenience after thatHow can I call that professional? No! None of these people were professionalsI don't care how many "board certification" they have; they are amateurs, and should be ashamed of everything they put us through.

On 10/11/2016, [redacted], daughter of [redacted], was seen in our Gibbsboro location for a restoration on tooth L.  On 11/1/2016 mom returned with patient stating there were complications with flossing due to this restoration.   Dr. Ami G[redacted] evaluated the area and...

recommended the restoration be replaced.  Mom agreed and Dr. G[redacted] proceeded with the services.  The restoration was done at no charge to the patient however it is customary to submit to insurance the evaluation.  Insurance denied the evaluation due to frequency and a statement was sent out to the responsible party.  On 03/28/2017 our billing department received a phone call from [redacted] in regards to the balance on account.  It was explained to her that there was no charge for the restoration but there was a remainder due for the evaluation.  She disagreed and began to state that our doctors were incompetent and amateurs.  I assured her that our doctors are very well qualified, board certified, and focused on what’s best for our patients. At the end of our conversation I made [redacted] aware that I would take her concerns to our Practice Administrator.  Later that day I reached out to [redacted] and notified her that I was authorized to remove the balance and if there were any other concerns she could feel free to call me.  In conclusion, the Holdbrook Dental staff is comprised of Board Certified Doctors and professional friendly staff that always considers the patient’s comfort and needs a top priority.
