Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: this is just further evidence of Alpha Omega's absolute refusal to honor what is advertised on their website or to honor agreements made with me, some verbally and some in writing This is just one more way for them to delay taking responsibility for their actions, and it further demonstrates that they have no desire to try to resolve the issue with me at the lowest possible level Most businesses welcome the opportunity to make things right with their customers, especially if it means NOT having formal complaints filed against themBut if they insist on additional formal complaints against them through additional agencies, so be it. Since they want to make this as difficult and time-consuming for me as possible, I would like that fact added to my complaint, as further support for my request of a full refund, along with the requested corrections to the advertising on their website (which still has not been changed as of 5:16pm on Aug 15).At their insistence, I will file a complaint with the TXDMVWhile I'm at it, I will file complaints with every other agency I can find that might have any interest in Alpha Omega's horrible and deceptive business practices, including the TX Secretary of State. I am beyond appalled at this company's handling of this entire situation. I have never been treated so poorly by any company in my life! I absolutely do do not accept the company's response, and this matter is clearly far from being resolved. Regards,*** ***

Alpha Omega Movers moved Mrs*** from San Antonio to Humble , Texas. The move was complete without incident. The movers loaded, drove and unloaded all the items into her location. When the move was complete the movers took her to the back of the truck to see everything
was unloaded. They even shined flash lights into the back for her to see better. Mrs*** signed off that everything was off the truck. Days later we received a phone call that after unpacking she still was not able to locate a carrousel. I had the driver *** call her to see if he could help out. She accused *** and the helper of stealing a toy for a child. She then contacted us again. I explained to her that both *** and *** were long term employees of the company and neither had ever been accused of taking something. That was the last time I have had any contact with the customer. I would like to note that also *** and *** are over years old and have no children

Alpha Omega Movers & Bargain Price Movers, LLC 2744 Westover Circle, San Antonio, Texas  78251 210-949-0506 TXDMV [redacted] August 27, 2015 Revdex.com RE: Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: Ms. [redacted] starts off her complaint letter stating that our websites are listed incorrectly.  First of all, www.barginpricemovers.net is one of our websites.  That website is correct.  However, if you type www.barginpricemovers.com, our website comes up as well.  We work closely with google and an additional website listed as www.favoritesanantionmovers.com will also bring you to our current website.  This is called advertising and marketing.  Many companies list their websites con-current.  Our website does state same day moves; however, there are unusual circumstances such as rain that prevent advertised statements, as per our contract. We have been in business for more than thirty (30) years and Ms. [redacted] is the first person who has misunderstood the advertising free use of boxes. Ms. [redacted] had a complete pack and move job.  A complete pack and move job involves more than just boxes.  It requires paper, tape, shrink wrap, boxes, etc.  These items are not free.  At the time of scheduling, this was explained to Ms. [redacted]. We have in the past returned the cost of boxes to the customer if the customer returns the boxes in the condition they received them.  They do not get the cost of paper, tape and other packing materials refunded.  Free use of boxes is something we offer to customers if we arrive at the location and they do not have all of their packing completed.  We will offer the use of some boxes for the customer to complete their packing; the boxes are then returned to us at the completion of the job or the customer pays a fee for them.  I do not wish to respond to the many untruths in Ms. [redacted]’s complaint letter.  I will make restitution with Ms. [redacted] by doing the following: We are happy to pay her dry cleaning of $97.00 and I will return $110.00 for the boxes, which is half the cost of all materials.  The boxes have not been returned to us at present.  Upon receiving a certified letter stating her complaint as per TXDMV Rules & Regulations, we will be happy to send her a refund check.  As of this date, Ms. [redacted] has never filed a complaint for damages as per TXDMV Rights & Responsibilities that she received at the time of her move.  All moving companies in the State of Texas are licensed by the TXDMV and we abide by those rules.  In accordance with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TXDMV) 43 Texas administration codes, Chapter 18, relating to Motor Carriers, the following information is provided:  18.57 “A household goods carrier’s liability for loss or damage to any shipment is $.60 per pound, per article, unless the carrier and shipper agrees in writing to a greater level of liability”. 18.61 A “Household Goods carrier has 90 days from receipt of a claim to pay, decline to pay, or make a firm settlement offer in writing to claimant.” Ms. [redacted] initialed that she received the TXDMV Rights and Responsibilities When You Move Brochure.  This form and the back side of the contract gave her complete information on how to file a complaint.  This is also on our website, as well as listed TXDMV website.  Nowhere on the form does it say to contact to the Revdex.com to be paid for said claimed damages.  Had Ms. [redacted] filed a claim in the proper procedure, she would have already been paid for said damages.  We are attaching the TXDMV Rights and Responsibilities When You Move Brochure, a copy of her contract and a copy of the back side of her contract (Please see highlighted area in red). Sincerely, [redacted] Alpha Omega Movers & Bargain Price Movers, LLC

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: the response only partially addresses the issues, and I do not appreciate being called a liar. First of all, even though their paperwork does not direct me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, as a consumer, I am absolutely within my right to do so. And other potential customers have a right to be able to view any concerns about the company (I wish I had done so myself - lesson learned on my part, as I learned after-the-fact that Alpha Omega has had other Revdex.com complaints over the past year). I will only be filing additional formal complaints, because that is what they are insisting on. Using their paperwork as an excuse to try to disregard my complaint with Revdex.com is just more of their poor form, horrible customer service, and delay tactics to avoid taking responsibility for this situation. I never asked for reimbursement for the OTHER packing materials - tape, paper, etc. I only requested, and was promised, reimbursement for the boxes, per what is advertised on BOTH of their websites. Their websites do not have any disclaimers regarding any limitations on that offer. Moreover, I DID RETURN THE BOXES. [redacted] and one other man from the crew (very nice guy, but I never don’t recall his name) came in one their company trucks and picked them up from my house on July 11th, as stated in my original complaint. And, as stated in that original complaint, I HAVE VIDEO of them picking up the boxes and inventorying them with me. I took the video, because, based on their customer service up to that point, I had a feeling Alpha Omega would try to claim I did not return the boxes. Obviously, I was right, because that is exactly what they are trying to do - even though I already disclosed that I have the video. Since I cannot attach the video here, I have attached two screen shots from that video.I attempted to deliver the boxes to them myself. I drove, with all their boxes, to the address listed on their website. As stated in my original complaint, when I arrived at that address, I discovered it was a residence. That is when I called and left a message the business number, to which I never received a response (as was the norm by that point), and I texted [redacted], who was the crew lead on my job, all requesting an appropriate drop-off address (see attached screen shot of texts), but no one would give me an address. Later, [redacted] called me to arrange a pick-up time, and at pick-up on July 11th, he told me a check would be sent for my reimbursement. All of this was stated in my original complaint, but Alpha Omega, as usual, is disregarding all of it, forcing me to repeat myself here again. Their latest response and included attachments also referenced the delay due to weather. My initial complaint noted weather issues and acknowledged that weather, of course, was not their fault.  But since they brought it up, please add that to my complaint, and add it as something that should be corrected on their website ads, given that BOTH of their websites state "GUARANTEED" same day service, without any disclaimer. The document attached to their latest response was not provided to me until the movers arrived at my place, after they were hire** If there is an intended disclaimer to that "guarantee," that should be spelled out on their website, so customers are fully aware of any limitations to the "guaranteed same day service" before the company is hired. My original complaint with regards to the false advertising was centered on their advertisement of "free use of our boxes," as stated on BOTH of their websites, again without any disclaimer. That long explanation of when and how they might, sometimes when they feel like it, provide some free boxes is not explained anywhere on their website, on any of their paperwork, nor was it explained when I hired them. And, in the end, the boxes were returned as agreed upon, yet they still failed to reimburse me. Additionally, the latest response from the business referenced this as a pack-and-move. That is not entirely correct.  This was a pack-move-unpack, and Alpha Omega failed to return to do the unpack portion. I even agreed to wait an extra couple of days, through July 3rd, because I understood they were behind due to the weather.  [redacted] promised a crew would be there between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on July 3rd, but they never showed up.  And I never heard from [redacted] again after that, despite my several phone calls, messages, and text messages.  Furthermore, Alpha Omega has acknowledged that this job included PACKING.  As such, it immediately negates any standing they think they have on "Free use of boxes is something we offer to customers only if we arrive at the location and they do not have all their packing completed..." I hired them to pack, so of course my packing was not completed!!!Finally, the website they have listed with the Revdex.com, bargainpricemovers.com, does NOT take you to any of their websites. It takes you to an inactive page that states it is "parked free courtesy of Domains Priced Right."  See photo attache** The other site mentioned, bargainpricedmovers.net, DOES go to one of their websites, which has all the same claims of "Guaranteed one day service" and "free use of our boxes," as listed on their favoritesanantoniomovers.com website. Neither of their active websites are listed in the Revdex.com records.  I simply provided the information I had for clarity, and so the relevant false advertisement concerns could be viewe** So once again, I don't appreciate being blatantly called a liar. While I appreciate that Alpha Omega has finally made some small offer for reimbursement for cleaning of my suits and for the boxes, it will cost me at least another $100 to have my dresses and formal gowns cleane** It also does nothing to compensate me for the my time, inconvenience, disrespect, and now the insult of being called a liar when I have pictures and video to back all of my claims. They are wasting my time in the hopes that I will give up or accept less than what I deserve for this mess. The least I will accept is $400, for the reimbursement of the boxes, the dry cleaning already done, the dry cleaning still needed to restore my other garments to a wearable state, and for my time and inconvenience.  In addition, they should remedy the issues identified with the advertising on BOTH of their websites. I feel strongly that $400 is far less than what they should provide me for all they have put me through, but if meeting them halfway will bring this matter to some sort of resolution, I will settle for that. And, as one final note, I would appreciate the slightest effort on the part of the company to show me at least the respect of getting my name right. My last name is [redacted], not [redacted].Regards,[redacted]
