Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/07/10) */
PSS disputes the following claims by [redacted] (i.e. [redacted]) in this complaint.
PSS NEVER changed the bin size. Their shredding bin has always been a 65 gal. bin since we started serving them in May of 2011.
PSS held their original...

service charges constant from May 2011 through July 2014 at which time they received a $5 per pick up increase.
On the February 2015 invoice, PSS notified of a possible increase as follows "Effective 4-1-15, Pioneer Secure Shred will be passing through price increases as a result of rising labor and insurance costs. Please note that your April Invoices may reflect this price change."
PSS increased the charges to $50 with a $5 fuel surcharge effective April 1, 2015. The customer called PSS to complain about the increase and it was explained to them that they are outside our normal service area and we need the increase because of this reason along with the increased costs of doing business. They were upset about the increase so we offered to roll back the price to $35 and pick up our bin at the next scheduled service date because we unfortunately, could not continue service them for that type of pricing. They accepted our offer and we rolled the price back and picked up their bin 6/10/15.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2015/07/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Pioneer Secure Shred's (PSS) response was anticipated as they have shown a history of lying and misrepresentation on numerous occasions. We have a history of documented phone conversations, emails, and invoices that prove to the contrary PSS' statements provided herein.
We know with certainty that our bin size was changed, no notification was provided on any pricing changes, and an offer to rollback to $35 was never offered. In fact they told us to go elsewhere with our business.
In is not in our best interest to continue wasting time with this company on this matter. As final settlement, we ask that they do not request final payment on their last invoice(s).
We remain concerned about the practices and behaviors of this company...
Final Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2015/07/29) */
Unfortunately, we were not able to agree on terms with this customer. We did switch containers with the customer as the customer states. However,it was strictly the style and color of the container. The size of the container is the same as before and not a different size as the customer stated.
We have agreed to remove their bin which was done in June and we will remove the charges for the June service. However, April charges will need to be paid by the customer.
