This matter has been resolved and Mr [redacted] has in fact selected Pioneer to provide his Long Distances service going forward Mr [redacted] did request that Pioneer cancel his service, unfortunately he made the request a few days after Pioneer's service was installed and his phone number was ported to Pioneer’s network as requested in his service order This timing is important because once the service has been installed Pioneer is not authorized to simply “move” customers back to their previous service provider The individual must contact the previous provider to restore the service and request that the number be ported back the previous service provider’s network Please let me know if you would like me to outlined the circumstances that led Mr [redacted] to file his complaint in greater detail [redacted]

Per Pioneer Telephone’s Terms and Conditions: “Accounts that are terminated with a credit balance will be charged a $10 fee to recover processing costs associated with closing such accounts.”    There are real costs to handle these credit requests.  We wish this was not the case but...

our employees and suppliers need to be paid for their work.   We would welcome the opportunity to reactivate the customer’s account so that they can use their remaining balance.
