I am rejecting this response because:I do not totally reject your response. Yes. A quote of thirteen ninety eight was given to me. I knew that $13.98 could not be correct so I asked your plumber where the comma was in his estimate. He concluded that it was after the 1. I was presented the contract on a cell phone which was unreadable and your team moved on to in signature part. I did sign after I agreed to the price. I signed again after they explained that iwas signing to confirm that they had been to my home.Your plumbers were very thorough about what was needed under my sink and gave me three options:1 - They could install a recirculating pump at the hot water heater. That would entail a return pipe to the hot water heater which would go under the house. It is a 100 foot run from the kitchen to the hot water heater. They advised that this would be very expensive.2 - A small low flow instant hot water pump would fit under the sink. They could see - and I don't think that they took a picture of this for Carl to see - the maze of equipment under this sink. I count 22 wires and pipes plus six shoebox size pieces of equipment.3 - A larger instant hot water pump would be more appropriate the higher flow kitchen sink.RESEARCH COMPLETED. The men were very thorough, clear and precise. It took them 10 minutes and their information was, I assumed, included in the service call fee which I am willing to pay.It is usual in this country for a business to be transparent so when I ask for the price of a part I expect an answer. Carl ---- did not know the price of the part even though he had just picked it up. I did not get to this in my query, but I would also like to know the make and model of this part. I had new tires put on my car recently. The salesman showed me the tires. I knew the brand and tire size that he would be installing. He also gave me an estimate of the milage I should expect from the tires. He gave me an estimate to install the new tires and hw long it would take to do the work. TRANSPARENTCYShould I be required to pay for further "research"? Should I be required to pay for the pick up of an unknown part?Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
