LLCthat had done a complete installment of new underlayment to his house except for the 13sqarea to the west side face of his house. He explained to us the he was unhappy with the cost *** Roofing LLCwanted to charge him to complete that areaSo, on April 20st Next Generation Roofing LLCwas contracted to complete and install new underlayment of a 13sq area of the west facing side of the houseWe installed that area as contracted. On April 20th, the customer sent us an email stating that our estimator promised to install bird stop while installing new underlaymentThis was not in the contract but due to having a verbal agreement we scheduled to have that taken care of for the customer. On April 26th, 2017, we sent a repair tech out to the residence *** ** *** *** Our repair tech had spent the day working with the bird stop to get it installedOn the 2nd day of installment April 27th, the office got a phone call from Mr*** ***, he was extremely angry and explained the repair techwas talking on his phone and he didn’t feel he was competent to complete the bird stop and asked us to remove him from his propertyWe complied with the requests and asked for the repair techto stop his work and kindly leave the propertyWe rescheduled with the customer for another day and another repair tech. On April 29th, 2017, we sent another repair tech out to the property of *** ** *** *** to finish installing the bird stopWhile our repair tech was out there the customer Mr*** *** asked our repair tech to only finish installing the front side of the house that was visible to the street because he was in a time crunch and had Home inspectors coming by to take pictures and we could not be working on the property at the same timeSo, we did as the home owner requested and finished the front side of the house with bird stopWe also offered to the customer to come back at a later time or day to finish the side that was incompleteThe home owner Mr*** *** denied us. On May 4th, we received another email saying there were missing tiles on the area we repaired and a mud ball that was cracked and needed mortarWith this email, we received the Home inspection report that is also attached to this response. On May 8th, 2017, we sent a repair tech and the estimator back out to the property of *** ** *** *** to replace two tiles and a cracked mud ball consistent with the Home Inspection ReportI also wanted to note that when we installed the underlayment on April 20th, we did not have any broken tiles that were not replaced at that time on our portion of the roofOur contract does not include broken tile after installment On May 12th, We received another email stating the Home Owners were not happy with our work and wanted a refund in the amount of $4,Next Generation Roofing LLCwas also banned from the property to make any repairsWe politely asked the home owner Mr*** *** to please contact the ROCWith any complaints and provided the link for them to do so. On May 17th, the customer Mr*** *** left a negative review with our Thumbtack account and followed with an email stating “what can we do with this review.” We emailed him back stating “we would like to work with you but we are unsure what issues remain after repairs were made to satisfy the Home Inspection Report on May 8th, 2017.” The customer explained he wanted the bird stop to be completed and he also wanted an estimate for his Patio RoofHe also sent a new estimate he received from another roofing company called *** *** *** *** Inc that found issues with the roof and its entirety and wanted to replace the entire roofThis estimate from *** *** *** *** Incalso noted that the repairs that needed to be finished to satisfy the Home Inspection report had been done by Next Generation Roofing LLCWe have attached a copy of the estimate with this response. On May 31st, we sent the original Tile installers out to finish the Bird Stop that we felt responsible for but did not provide a proposal for the patio as requested due to negative reviewsThe Home owner also sent an email the same day of additional tile that was broken before my crew had arrived at propertyWe did not replace any further tile for our contract does not include broken tile after installmentOur warranty covers workmanship and material warranty for new underlayment but not broken tiles after installment. If the customer Mr*** *** has any further complaints we ask them to please contact the ROCAnd make a complaint with themAs of today, June 12th, we have not received anything from the ROCWe have attached all email correspondence with our customer Mr*** *** and all other documentations like, Next Generation Roofing LLC contract, Home Inspection Report and the estimate provided by *** *** *** *** Inc. Next Generation Roofing LLCdoes not feel this review is truthful or honest representation of actual eventsWe stand by our quality of work and feel this contract is satisfied unless otherwise instructed by the Register of Contractors.
