Complaint Details
I was refused service today 02/01/2020 at Piroskhy and Crepes cafe and asked to leave just because I put a bad review 7 months earlier on google about this cafe. Owner asked the server to reject my service and leave the place. It's astonishing that in this age of social media if you address your honest feedback you are refused service and asked to leave rather than take constructive criticism and improve on their customer service. This is first time in my life I have been refused a service at a restaurant period. I was being told that I was refused service since I put a bad review on google 7 months before and in my review mentioned that they are cheap and don't have enough staff to handle proper customer service. Also they said I was rude to there staff back then when I put the review. Which is not true I just told them since you are charging for refills on your drip coffee and other cafe don't I will not return to this cafe. There was no rudeness or any profanity or bad language. Just said I was upset and leaving due to surcharge on the drip coffee refill. This incident was during my last visit 7 months before. I visited the place again even thought I didn't wanted to but my son was super hungry so I decided to grab myself and my son some food and I was rejected service and asked to leave. It's weird I had my coffee and inquired that they are still charging refill on drip cafe and the manager said there is no charge and I told her about my incident from seven months before how I was unhappy about the surcharge back then. She said don't worry things have changed for good. She called the owner and the owner asked her to let me know to leave. Had I not shared the incident everything would have fine but being honest looks like didn't sit well with them.
Desired Outcome
I should be allowed in this business as I didn't anything wrong, just posed a honest review on google which the owner didn't like and is lying that I was rude back then just to justify her action of rejecting me the service today. I want an apology from the owner and the right to visit this place. I am engineer and owns a house in Everett.
