Review: Pisa in the summer of 2010 redid my asphalt driveway. Since then there have been major cracking in several areas of the driveway. I have been calling pisa for several months to have someone come out and look at the driveway. In all my phone calls I spoke to an [redacted] only once who asked me to fax over the original work order which I did. He said someone would come out to look. No one ever did and I have been calling almost everyday leaving messages which no one had returned . Since I have been codling the situation has gotten worse with more cracks on different areas as well as existing ones getting larger. The person who wrote up the work order and gave me the estimate is [redacted], who has not returned any of my phone calls .Desired Settlement: I would like someone to come and evaluate my driveway and advise why this is happening to a fairly newly paved driveway and do whatever is necessary to correct the situation and prevent further damage . If that means redoing the driveway then so be it .

To whom it may concern Pisa construction was contracted back in 2010 to install a driveway at [redacted] home which it is now 4 years later with no warranty and has been through extremely bad weather conditions including horrendous winters with extreme frost conditions which causes heaving and cracking,Heavy Snow and heavy down pours including hurricane Sandy. Also his driveway is on a steep incline with heavy oil trucks running up and down to deliver oil and ride over the edge of the driveway We have examined the driveway and are at no fault to any aging conditions or wear and tear to the driveway .

I have been living in this house since 1993 and have had an asphalt driveway since the beginning. That driveway lasted a good 15/16 years before it had to be redone. We have had extreme bad weather in the past including snow and severe ice and the driveway lasted far more than 3-4 years. Driveways should be prepared in anticipation of extreme weather as well as vehicles going up and down them. Also there are areas of the driveway that are flat and far removed from vehicular traffic that is cracking. The cost of the driveway was $19,000 which included removing the entire old driveway base and all in preparation for a new driveway with proper sub-base and proper thickness of asphalt to avoid the above problems; and I would expect it to last longer than 3-4 years.

Pisa construction's excuse of bad weather causing the deterioratio of the driveway is unacceptable. As I stated before we have had extreme weather in the past and my previous driveway lasted 15/16 years before any problems. The fact that the driveway is cracking in areas other than traffic bearing leads me to believe that the sub- base is inadequate. Main highways and roads are subject to extreme weather and heavier traffic than my driveway and do not deteriorate as rapidly . I would like [redacted] to be professional enough to meet with me so as we can resolve this situation .
