Review: I purchased my 2002 Chevy Tahoe from a private party on May 8, 2013. The previous owner had informed me that she had various work done at Pisanis and that the AC was still under warranty. The AC was not working properly, so I took it to Pisanis on May 13, 2013. The shop had my vehicle several times for this same issue. Pisani expressed that the warranty is not transferable, but said they would honor the work that had been done to the vehicle since I had walked into this mess.I have the invoice and signed paper by the shop stating that they would honor the entire AC system. The shop said they flushed the entire system and replaced major components and AC Delco filter. Shortly after the work was done, the AC was not working properly, again. When I expressed taking my vehicle to the Chevy dealer (who happened to inform me that if there is metal debris in the system, it will need to be completely flushed and that the expansion valve and orifice filter would need to be replaced), the shop owner stated that he was unaware of an orifice filter. He thanked me for telling him about the orifice filter; he supposedly had no clue that such a part even existed. Upon inspection, metal debris was found in the system from being improperly serviced. [redacted] said that he would fix the system and order new parts (free of charge). [redacted] had the vehicle for several days and said that the problem had been fixed. However, the following week the AC stopped working again. I called [redacted] and he said I am done. Pisanis did not honor their work or their warranty.The vehicle was then taken to another shop, which I had to pay $648 to repair what Pisani should have already fixed under their warranty. The new shop replaced parts that [redacted] had supposedly already replaced, which I have in writing. I was never shown any old parts from [redacted], so I am only left to assume that the parts were never actually replaced by them. I am very unhappy with Pisanis and would never recommend them to anyone

I would like a refund of the $648 that I had to pay the new shop to fix my AC. This repair should have been covered under Pisani's warranty.

Co. states the Bureau of Automotive Repair came in and reviewed things, and drew up a settlement between the parties. The case has been resolved.
