I lived in a loft apartment that had an upstairs and downstairs and on 11/17/2017, a pipe busted underneath the sink in the upstairs bathroom that caused a floodPeople that were hired by the complex did stop the leak and started working on the issue but stopped working at 5:00PM*** who is the manager ordered them to stop working and they lect without the job getting doneLater that night, another company came to clean up the rest of the water and eventually (days later) they shampooed the carpet, which smelled of waterLooking at the ceiling at the downstaits kitchen, there was significant water damage and holes in the wall that were never fixedI did notify management several times and nobody did anything to fix the issuesOn 01/19/2018, we saw a rat at in the morningI called and reported the issue immediately with the answering service and nothing was doneI continued to see rats until my last day living there, which was 03/24/Work orders I've submitted showed th

I am a resident been living here about months and have a real problem with parkingI have a assigned parking spaceProblem is that there is a red fire zone against the curb behind my space and cars and big trucks are parking there a lot of days I am unable to reverse out of my spaceI have told several management a lot of times and they do nothingI pay my rent always one or weeks early I do not understand why I can not have my parking space secure for my family and myself Ongoing huge problemI am not the only one my neighbor at one point also reported this to the office I was told it is because there is a lot of people at the apartments who do not live there People not on the lease

This property needs to be investigatedPeople go out with utilities/hot water for weeks or even months and sadly to say, a lot of people are either TOO afraid or not aware of their rights as tenantsI knew this Indian lady a while back who had to leave because she wasn't able to bathe her baby in hot waterShe will cryShe will ask me if I had any hot water and I sadly say noShe said "I left my country to not suffer like this and I still am"She use to sit in the office until her hot water was fixed but never was
This has been an ongoing issue that a lot of us have been forced to live in since the prices are doable for our situationsJake/Jacob the manager is not a bad person when it comes to money and when you sign a contract, but, he is NOT professional what so everIf you have a complaint, he will hang up on you and send you to voicemailIf you ask him "Have the utilities been fixed......he will threaten you to call the cops if you don't leave(We have him on video and audio)Jake does NOT keep his word when it comes to fixing the utilitiesThey had NO maintenance workers whatsoever because everyone quit on themMy wife suffers from severe asthma and was not able to sleep many timesAlso it seems that if you don't personally give any paper work to him by hand it somehow disappears or he never got itThis comes as too often a convent excuse for him when you have a complaint
This has been reported to the city multiple times and not sure why nothing is happeningHot water, a/c is by law a necessity If you don't take care of important repairs, such as a broken heater, tenants in Texas may have several options, including the right to “repair and deduct” from the rentSomething that it was NEVER offered We went without a/c and had to beg for another unit for at least weeksAfter it was "repaired" we had to go through the same problemI have tickets of how many times we have filed for this issue to be fixed AND it still hasn'tI still have records and emails from Jacob Enriquez for Hot Water issues/repairs......Just to name a few:

Recently my one of my in-law decided to move here AGAIN because where they lived, Neighbors of theirs were murdered overnightThis person had an urgency to get away from their old apt complex as soon as possible because this person feared for their lifeJake knows they are related to usWe had a lot of issues with them and I'M NOT sure if he is giving them a hard time on their FIRST week of living them or has a vendetta to get back at us through themAll I know is there were multiple wrong doings on his behalf for sureI wont go into details because her situation is not my problem and that is something between her and Fairways VIt feels like he is abusing his power to make peoples lives miserable out of spite to get back at us or somethingHes quick to hand out evictions and notices but when it comes to getting you set up in your apartment its a long hard fought battle of fake promises and lies
People have been forced to break their lease due to the lack of hot waterI personally decided to speak out because we are so tired of this happening with no repercussionSecurity deposits have NOT been refunded to manyIt's embarrassing that for the Medical Center area they PROMOTE hardwood floors but they're VINYLSome of the stairs are in poor condition and have wooden railingsThere are leaks everywhere....What ticks me off the most is that they created fake profiles to give themselves good reviews on googleWithin a month they had at least new reviews that placed them from having starts to it's advertisementChecking records would show that the number of newly accepted tenants will not match the amount of positive comments over the time periodI wish people didn't abuse their position to take advantage of others
Revdex.com, PLEASE read the reviews from googleGoogle "Lynd Company" There is many people from all over the US reporting this companyThey need to be shut down entirelyOr look at the fake accounts they made for reviews on their Fairways V apartments websiteI will not stop until someone investigatesThis is America, and people fought for our rights and are still fighting to enforce what's rightPlease do somethingPeople may think they don't have rights but they do! They're just not informed or don't have the time to report them! Please investigate Jake and The Lynd companyhe has been with the Lynd company for many years now and I feel they keep him there for another reasonThere is something really happening hereI don't feel safe in this community anymore because of him
