People do need to be warnedI have never done business with a less professional outfit in my lifeThey come and go with hand written signs hanging on the door "next door, back in minutes"hours later, same sign, door still lockedYou would think you were at the docks they way they swear, they don't call and they don't answer their phone (vmail box is full so you can't even leave a message)The work: Had them replace the cracked screen on my HTCLiving out of town, I was only able to stop in once a week or so and apparently that wasn't enough to keep him reminded he was supposed to work on my phoneFinally he got the screen replaced but broke the power button doing it so had to order a new oneAll together, over a month before I got it backThe work was sloppyI could see light through the bottom of the phone and the seal was poking up through the sideI figured, oh well, good enough, except that once the phone charge died, it quit working completelyPlug it in and the charge light would blink but the phone never came on againI took it to him and he kept it another weeks (again, week reminder) and he said it was shotOf course, it had nothing to do with the work he did on it, he saidLOL (sigh)$down the drain, AND I still have to buy a new phoneFeel bad for the guy (not the owner I guess, never met anyone but him) he's the only one that works there apparently, seems to have personal problemsMore or less a nice enough guyJust do yourself a favor and DO NOT do business with these folks...unless you're just a gambler looking for a good price

On January 6th I had a customer stop at the shop to ask if I could mount tiresI said no problem and the customer told me he would drop the
car off the following dayOn January 7th I came in to open the shop and the customers car was already thereI replaced the tires and called the customer to let him know the car was doneWhen the customer arrived he asked me what happened to his car and with confusion I said I didnt know what he was talking aboutWe then went out to look at the car and the customer pointed out a large dent obove the right rear wheelI rite away noticed that the side of the car that was dented was facing a brick wall so there was no possible way the car could've been hit from where it was parkedI then started to inspect the dent and noticed the whole car was covered with road salt and there was no fresh rub marks or scratches in or around the dented areaI did see scratches in and around the dent but they were filled with salt wich would tell me the damage was not fresh so in my professional opinion I would say the damage was there before the car was dropped offI told the customer I had no prior knowledge of the dent it didnt happen while I was there and I didnt think it happened at my shop and he arguedI told the customer that if I thought in anyway I was responsible I would take care of it but I didnt think I wasI also stated that even though I didnt think the damage was done at my shop I have a sign clearly posted that says my shop is NOT responsible for theft or damage to vehicles left on the propertyI am sorry this happened to the customers car but I dont feel we are responsible.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
On this day I personally dropped my car off at the Pit Stop. When I left my car there I parked it in the front of the lot with the passenger side open and nothing was beside me. When I sent my boyfriend and a friend to pick the car up that is  when they seen the dent. However, in regards to this damage being there previously, it is not possible. I had only purchased this car 3 weeks prior and it had not be driven due to not having had the time to get the title or the insurance put on the car. I had just put insurance on the car the 5th of January at which that time I was legally able to drive the car and wanted to get different tires on it. The car hadn't been driven previously by myself and there was no damage to the vehicle.  When the car was picked up and the owner was asked about the damage he said " he didn't remember hitting anything" then later proceeded by saying " if it happened on his lot he wasn't responsible". All in all the car had no damage at the time I dropped it off there. Like I said I hadn't even driven the car until the 5th when I was able to put insurance on the car. Also, my vehicles are stored in a garage, they don't sit outside where any damage could have happened, except for when I dropped it off that morning it was outside at the Pit Stop.
