I've heard of mechanic shops that take advantage of women shoppers but never have I witnessed it until nowI bought this groupon for my wife to do her annual inspectionI thought we were getting a great deal, until my wife called me to say how they completely ripped her offHer car had just been fully serviced and prepped for inspection by a well known certified mechanic right in the areaYet, this company decided to charge her $to change light bulbs and rotate her tires which were all BRAND NEWInstalled by her vehicle's manufacturer less than one month agoFirst of all, when did tire rotation become a mandatory part of vehicle inspection? Fraud alert! You have to remove tires to check the brakes anywayThen you can put them back on in any order you see fitThat's called good business practice where I come fromThere shouldn't be an extra charge for itWorse yet, one of the light bulbs that they had to replace required them to remove the left headlamp assembly and in putting it back, they left it completely misalignedSpoke with one of their staff on Saturday for them to clear up the chargesHe quickly refunded the $for the tire rotation because at first glance its obvious to even the most novice mind that the tires are new and did not require "rotation" serviceAs for the other charges, he claimed to not be able to pull the "official" paperwork until Monday (11/7/16) so I should return then to clear it upFraud alert #2!! Isn't "paperwork" all in the computer now? HmmHow were you able to print out the receipt and refund me $for the rotation but you can't speak on any of the other charges or the damage to the headlamp assembly till Monday? Sounds to me like you guys need time to get your story straightI hope to God you get investigated fully for this because taking advantage of women like this is a sinYou will NEVER see business from us againI think Groupon should also consider not advertising for you guys because it's quite possible that you just had to charge my wife for something else since she had the groupon dealI don't knowEither way, We're incredibly disappointed with your serviceDon't worry about us showing up Monday for your unavailable paperwork explanation eitherWe have better things to occupy our time with; for example, forwarding this complaint to the Revdex.comGood day

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response due to multiple statements being incorrect and/or False. I will detail below and add additional comments:1) It is stated by Pit Stop Tire and Auto, the initial diagnosis of the wheel bearing was a fee waived to me out of courtesy. This is incorrect. The aftermarket warranty clearly states it will pay for all diagnosis and repairs of a covered warranty. The wheel bearing was a covered warranty, thus the diagnosis charge would have been paid by the warranty company.2) It is stated by Pit Stop Tire and Auto, a FREE Multi point inspection was completed. I did not ask for this nor was it required by the warranty company, thus an unauthorized service by  Pit Stop Tire and Auto Center. I was never informed when I dropped off the car a courtesy check would be completed. If so, I would have denied it.3) It is stated by Pit Stop Tire and Auto, I gave authorization to replace the front disk brake pads. This is True however I was also told the rear brake pads were cracked and rear shocks were leaking, Neither of which were true. This is proven by another service station local to the area, passing the car for yearly state inspection with none of those issues being necessary to pass thus I gave approval to perform work which I believe was not needed. The receipt from the passed stated inspection was shown to  Pit Stop Tire and Auto. When shown I was told "all service stations perform inspections differently". An incredible statement since it is a state required law to perform certain checks, it is not at the discretion of the service station.  Furthermore, when I asked for the front brake pads back to examine the cracks, when I visited the shop to explain my issues, I was told they were thrown away. I found this hard to believe since it was 2 days prior.4) It is stated by Pit Stop Tire and Auto, Not all fluid leaks are visible from the ground, which is true however it would have been noticed by low fluid levels from the dealership I take the car too during a previous oil change. Reviewing my oil change receipt from March 2015 shows no signs of needing additional power steering fluid.5) It is stated by Pit Stop Tire and Auto, the offer was made to show me on the lift, the required repairs. I did decline as I had just come from the service station that passed the car for yearly safety inspection, thus these safety issues did not exist and there was no need for the car to be put back on the lift.6) It is stated by Pit Stop Tire and Auto, that Pit stop tire and auto made attempts to contact me after the fact to resolve issues, which is 100% false. I have never been contacted afterwards by phone or email from anyone from Pit Stop Tire and Auto.7) Nothing is stated nor mentioned on the fact of my wheel covering being broken by Pit Stop Tire and Auto as stated by the original complaint. The service manager PERSONALLY PROMISED to replace my center cap. His exact words to me were "we will take care of that for you" but I have no reimbursement nor a new cap as of 6/3/15.Finally, the repair of the wheel bearing had to have additional work completed by another service station a week after the repair. The band that went around the CV boot was not tight, thus throwing grease all over the inner wheel making the wheel off balance. This was noticed while on the highway the Monday after I confronted the service manager and owner.  I distrust this organization so much I would not return it and paid, out of pocket, for another service station to complete the repair and repack the bearing. In summary, I was told I needed wok to pass safety inspection (Front and Rear Brakes, Rear Shocks)  which I did not need. This is PROVEN by another service station passing the car (with receipt shown) that rear brakes and shocks were not defective. The only reason I agreed to front brakes was I was told by the service manager they were very dangerous and the car could not be driven far without possibly causing an accident.  Since it is well known front brakes provide 85% of the stopping power of a vehicle, I reluctantly said YES since I was driving the car 200 miles the next day.
