Review: February **, 2015:

Because I never use my credit card, I was notified by my bank, [redacted], that I had TWO charges from Pitkin Avenue Florist, both for $89.87. They called me to see if I had been there or purchased anything. I explained that I only use my card to pay my automated phone bill (my company does not take debits card for automated payments), I hadn't used my card for anything else in months, and that someone had stolen my information and used it to purchase Valentine's day flowers TWO TIMES on February ** from Pitkin Avenue Florist. I cancelled my credit card, was issued a new one, and filed a claim/investigation through my bank.

February **, 2015:

I called Pitkin Avenue Florist. A woman answered and I asked "do you take credit card payments over the phone?". She said "yes". I explained to her that somebody used my information and purchased flowers, obviously over the phone, and that her company was taking unauthorized, unchecked payments. She quickly took back her original answer and said "no, no, we only take payments like that if we really know someone" (as in a regular). She is a liar. For this to happen two times in one day, I am not assuming anything less. This place is taking unauthorized payments from people they don't really know - it's illegal.

I am now in the process of undergoing an investigation through [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like this business to be reported and contacted. I would hope they change their over-the-phone credit card payment policies.
