Had used them aproxyears ago for and oil to gas conversion We chose them through National Grid (they had them listed as a recommended businesses at the time) The conversion took well over months, they were not nice at all as if we were bothering them and did a very sloppy job They installed a huge furnace and water heater for such a small house, the compression tank was way too small and cause the furnace to act incorrectly, leaking water on the floor I had to have another plumber come in and had to buy a compression tank twice the size of what they installed When Pitman installed my furnace they had to add more piping Well they actually ran a pipe right in front of a clearly labeled (big black marker) ash clean out box for my chimney above So now that can be used They also attached the control box for the furnace to the top of the furnace where it gets extremely hot Very disappointed in their service Would not recommend them

Good afternoon, I would like to thank the Revdex.com for compelling Jayson to open a dialogue with me. After repeated telephone calls and email attempts, it was clear that Jayson simply had no intention of returning my inquiries. My last telephone call with Jayson resulted with him simply hanging up on me. I have incurred considerable expenses that are onging due to Jayson's inability or reluctance to communicate with me. I hired a new plumber to secure the necessary permits as well as correct whatever might be necessary due to an incomplete sign off of the installation by Jayson. It will cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket that could have been avoided if Pitman Plumbing acted in a more responsible manner. Thank you

To whom it may concern,On this project the owner acted as their own General contractor with noprevious experience. We were hired us as a Sub Contractor to perform onlya PORTION of the work required for sign off.  This is a mixed usecommercial / residential building. Not typical residential...

home.  Work that was excluded from our scopeincluded but not limited to: Chimney upgrades that may or may not be required, fresh air / ventilation fire proofing, house wiring, patching painting, or anypre -existing conditions with heating system. We worked with the customer to perform any work that was part of our scope aswell as work that was not. We even helped the engineer that was hired by theowner with no boiler experience fill out required forms and perform expeditingservices at no extra expense to owner.  At each inspection PitmanPerformed all changes the Dept. of Buildings required of the plumber. As wellas informing the Owner/ contractor what additional work was required on his orher part. All work was performed in a timely manner. Our gas inspection wasfiled for and performed as self certification. It was physically spot checkedby a NYC DOB inspector and all gas work was cleared and passed 4/**/2012. Boiler Division inspections were performedby Pitman on 4/**/12 and 8/**/12. Both boiler division city inspections failedboth field tests for inadequate fresh air / Ventilation by (2) separateinspectors. This is clearly excluded from our contract and scope of work. Allcorrections noted by inspectors on Pitman's scope  were performed. We corresponded with the customer up until 6/**/13. The ventilation is stillnot up to code as a result we will no longer call for any inspections until ourbalances and expediting and or legal fees are paid in full. The customer only contacted us after twoyears of owing a balance when the city issued a violation for not filing annualB09 forms and Pitman was NOT contracted to perform these inspections. Uponreceipt of an email Dated April [redacted] 2015 at 8:59 Am. I responded in an emailthat we have "attached" at 3:25 pm The same day with and explanationas to why the violation was issued. I also gave a price to correct theviolation and perform the required annual inspections. I also explained in a phone conversation withthe owner when asked why this happened.  I explained sometimes the city never catchesit. Sometimes the oil company responsible for the oil delivery performs theseinspections as a gratis in exchange for the fuel service business or as part ofa service contract. Either way it is the owners responsibility to keep theseinspections up. Sometimes the city issues a fine and sometimes not. Proof ofthis is the building has NO inspections performed ever aside from 2010 yet only(2) years have penalties due. The NYC DOB website only shows one annualinspection being performed in 2010 by a John S[redacted]. There is also an openviolation for 2009 which has yet to be paid by the building owner. In closing, we requested our balance bepaid as the ventilation has not been completed causing all permits to expire. We will not pay to renew permits, incur any more permit, expediting expenses againor perform any work that is not in or contract. Attached are pictures taken today05/**/2015 showing the building where work was done.  It clearly shows that there is NO fresh airor it is blocked by the roll down gate. Either way it is wrong and not ready for inspection. Jason M[redacted]Pitman Plumbing and Heating Inc.

[redacted]Again,  we have not been negligent in any way.  We have completed everything we were contracted to do.  Our contract clearly states we are not responsible for fresh air / ventilation. Also, due to your issues with having schedule B addressed and fresh air done (which is still NOT done), we had to renew the permit which expired. To do so we had to pay to have a meeting with the plan examiner to waive your civil penalty in order to renew the permit.  We feel you owe us the contracted amount plus the charges to meet examiner and renew permits.

This plumber is not telling the truth in his response.  This plumber has continually intimidated me and has been rude and nasty.  I am a single woman trying to manage a 3 family house and he only responded to me after I contacted the Revdex.com.  He still has responsibility to bring closure to the work he's done by the City of New York.

Review: Contrator installed 2 boilers at my home in Brooklyn, NY back in September 2011. Installation included passing boiler inspection with the Dept of Buildings. As of this date, these inspections are still pending and the job has not been signed off on. I have received $1000 violation for each boiler totalling $2000 from the Dept. of Buildings for the year of 2013 and will expect to get more violations for 2014, 2015, etc. until this job has been signed off. I have contacted the plumber ([redacted]) and spoke to him on 4/** and also sent a certified letter which they should have received on 5/**/15. I have not received the return receipt card and have not heard from anyone?Desired Settlement: I need them to do whatever further work is necessary to complete the job and get it signed off and also to pay the current violations of $2000 and any others sent to me until this matter is resolved and closed.
