Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle we bought along with other vehicles had "$Cash" written in big white letters across the windshieldGMC had a additional offer offered as a Veterans DiscountThis discount ran out on January 4, 2017, as advertised on GMC websiteI know this to be true because my daughters father-in-law purchased a vehicle from Quality GMC located on Lomas the same time we purchased this vehicle, he received his Veterans Discount amounting to around $In addition, I was told by Brian we would receive the Veterans Discount when finance wrote the Contract this was in addition to the $posted on the vehicle available to all, even those that didn't serveI receive a check for $today which makes up for the difference in advertised price that was written across the windshieldIt doesn't make up for the Veterans discount that was implied I was to receive as advertised on GMC website and we were told we would receiveTherefore I (we) will return the check and are sticking to the original complaint amount of $An apology would also go a long way we didn't lie on the amount that was written across the windshield's of cars in the amount of $instead of the $Hector said was on the autos Regards, [redacted] And [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

Ms [redacted] ,I am so sorry you had this experience at our dealership, this certainly is not the experience we expect for any of our valued customers and I am sorry we let you down I am confident that if you would have contacted me directly you would feel much differently than you do now and I would offer you the opportunity to come in and meet me in person.We have issued the refund for the aftermarket products purchased, you will see a credit of $4,on your next statement from US Eagle credit unionRegarding your trade in; when a purchase is made there are many actions that go in to motion, one of them is selling a trade in that we do not intend to keepThe Toyota was sold July 17th and was not available for return, I apologize as to the way the salesperson responded to your request, rather than simply letting you know that it was already soldAlso, the car wash for life is a benefit that we do ask $for but your transaction was discounted from $44,retail price, which includes the car wash for life, down to $41,less the $4,rebate; therefore, the car wash for life becomes a benefit that you did not pay for but still get to enjoy.I understand how you feel but I am confident if you came to the dealership and met with me personally, I believe you would eventually become one of my personal friends and loyal customerWe are not perfect every time but I know what perfect customer service looks like and we are continually training our staff to move toward that on a daily basisI hope I get the opportunity to meet you.Sincerely, Scott S [redacted]

I am requesting a refund as soon as possible, the business response states I will see a refund in my next statement. This is not acceptable by me. I have waited since July for a refund. I'm sorry to hear that Mr*** has rejected my offer. I have attached the rebate program for everyone to review, at the time of the purchase there was a $rebate on the Acadia Mr*** purchased. That was the only Acadia we had with any rebate, it was part of the select bonus program from GM. I have also attached the Military discount program from GM. Mr*** did not qualify for this program, it is for active military and retired. Veterans must be within one year of discharge.While I do not dispute that they saw vehicles with $written on the windshield, they did not see Acadia's with that amount written due to the fact that amount was not available from GM.My offer of $stands.Sincerely, Scott S*General Manager

I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle we bought along with 2 other vehicles had "$2500 Cash" written in big white letters across the windshield. GMC had a additional offer offered as a Veterans Discount. This discount ran out on January 4, 2017, as advertised on GMC website. I know this to be true because my daughters father-in-law purchased a vehicle from Quality GMC located  on Lomas the same time we purchased this vehicle, he received his Veterans Discount amounting to around $2400. In addition, I was told by Brian we would receive the Veterans Discount when finance wrote the Contract.  this was in addition to the $2500 posted on the vehicle available to all, even those that didn't serve. I receive a check for $1000.00 today which makes up for the difference in advertised price that was written across the windshield. It doesn't make up for the Veterans discount that was implied I was to receive as advertised on GMC website and we were told we would receive. Therefore I (we) will return the check and are sticking to the original complaint amount of $3500. An apology would also go a long way we didn't lie on the amount that was written across the windshield's of 3 cars in the amount of $2500 instead of the $1500 Hector said was on the autos.

Although we still disagree Mr. S[redacted] he said I did not qualify for the Military discount. Why I do not know, because I am a retired Veteran having served in the Marines from 1967 thru 1970 and served in the Army from 1976 thru 1993 and retired. I have a ID card saying such.
