Easy and fast service today. Thank you, Pitstop for saving my glass! lol

Took a rock to the windshield on my way to work. Stopped by and was on my way in just a few short minutes.

Straight forward, easy pricing, great workmanship, replacement comes with a 1 year warranty rock chip warranty, perfect transaction. The windshield replacement took about an hour. I really can't say what a pleasure it was to work with this company. I hope I never have to replace a windshield again, but if I do, you can bet that this is the only company that I will contact.

Today's experience at Pitstop was worth having the damage to my brand-new RX.

I learned so much about today's windshield technology from Gil, like how my collision stopper is connected to my glass. He showed me in a book that there are 20 different windshields for my Lexus alone and that mine is an $1800 replacement. Yikes! Even with my $1,000 deductible, he showed me just how much more I will have to pay for replacements now. I have a call in for my insurance agent to lower my deductible to $250!

Also, Gil explained to me how windshield washer fluid , even the wrong windshield washer fluid can ruin the chances of proper repair theses days, so make sure that you make your own and don't use the bottled brands.

These guys have a great do-it-yourself washer fluid that is easy to make for yourself on their website in the blog section, which is an informative read at www.pitstopautoglass.com

amount towards a replacement. All reputable glass shops have the same warranty. It took 18 years for someone to simply not want to understand this warranty, which has led [redacted] to resort to threats and ultimately leaving negative reviews on [redacted]. (see below) Our warranty is front and center on our webpage and can be seen anytime. www.PitstopAutoglass.comIt is the same as offered by Safelite, AllStar and other larger companies. Honestly, we are not making up the rules as we go along. Windshield repair is a simple, cost-effective option to replacement. It is the same as a tire store offering to ‘plug’ a tire that has a nail in it. Most of the time a plug is sufficient, however, sometimes a tire will continue to leak causing a necessary replacement. It is really that simple. Unlike most glass shops, we prefer to repair first when we can and replace when the glass simply will not take a repair. [redacted] has stated publicly that the repair was not performed correctly. We apply a tool and resin and the process is the same today as it was in 1997. The tool has no brain and does not differentiate between customers as to the outcome of each repair. It is simply a device that performs a simple function, which is to try to save windshields from splitting. [redacted] has stated that the windshield cracked during her move to the east coast. We cannot inspect the windshield, so we do not know if the original repair actually failed, or if it is from new damage.
