I received a call at approximately 1:00 am Monday morning on August 10 from this customer. He said he needed his girlfriends car unlocked and they were located at their residence on [redacted] street. I told him I could do that service for him, I could be there in 15 to 20 minutes and...
the charge would be $150. I asked him before going how he would pay, he said he would pay in cash. He asked me to come and do the service. I unlocked the car, I said it'll be $150. He said "no, you quoted me $50". I told him "no, I quoted you $150". He told me he didn't have that amount in cash and that he would have to pay with a credit card. I accepted his card. Normal practice is that a customer gets an emailed receipt when paying with a credit card. This customer insisted on a paper receipt at time of service which I provided to him. As I stated in response to his negative online review of our company, I'm sorry he was not happy with the service. He misunderstood or misheard the quoted price. We do not provide lockout service for $50 and a refund is not due to this customer. I provided the service he requested within the quoted time and for the quoted price.
