Ms *** was provided with a service contract from cars protection plus, however when she did have motor issues she took it to a shop of her choice which is fine, the warranty company needed pictures of the damage to the engine before they could proceed with authorizing repairsHer repair
shop never provided those photos, several weeks later Ms *** came in to the store, stating the car was at a different repair shop, at that point I called Cars Protection plus, and they agreed to reopen the case, but still needed pictures of the damage, again none were provided. We put these service contracts on our cars is case we missed something in the vetting process of our inventory, we strive to put out the best product we can for the money.I don't know for a fact, but from what I gather the car ran hot and instead of shutting the car down and calling a wrecker which was also provided in the service contract she continued to drive the car until it blew the head gaskets, so that a simple repair became a major problem, which I still was trying to get resolved, if the auto had been at a qualified repair shop, I feel the outcome of this matter would have been much different.*** ***Pittman's Sports & Imports
