reckless driver
I was driving down Fitzpatrick Street Monday evening around 645 when bus #81 came barreling out of Bentley Street . Luckily, I have good brakes, because even after I pushed aggressively on my brake pedals, I was INCHES from missing that bus! I was SO shaken up and SO mad! I had my uncle in the car with me and I thought for sure we were going to collide! that driver should NOT be allowed on the road! I was grateful that we were driving at a slower speed and had our seat belts on!

Bus 64 going to the Waterfront
Sunday. August 20, 2023
12:30 am

Pickup at Friendship and Edmond

Bus 6525

I would like to say a big thank you to the best driver on this route. I was having a very bad day and it just his personality was a welcoming comfort.

I have written this driver several other times and he has always been very kind very sweet and professional.

I wish that I would have gotten his ID number but I totally forgot until I got off the bus.

But thank you so much to this one bus driver

So wrong!!
About the 6C Bus (which there is only 3trips in a.m. and 3 trips in p.m. is rerouted to MtTroy then down Wicklines. They won't come down Beech St. (Which they have in winter) so leaves us with appointments, work to walk 1 1/2 miles to bottom of Wicklines, bus loop.
BUT...YEAH the 15 Charles can travel up and down BEECH St. All day and evening!
This is so wrong how a Bus not routed can use the street that the scheduled bus is detoured from.
Oh there a few people (looking to add to) that will be calling and connecting to higher ups.
For good for some buses but not the designated bus.
We are NOT HAPPY!

Talking while driving
I am on the bus right at this moment 77 out bound 12:27 bus number 6449. The driver a female is on the earbuds. She is having a whole conversation with someone in her phone. REALLY..!

Review: I used your T system last week for the first time. I must say that it was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. As two first time users my friend and I had no idea what we were doing. The website was not first time friendly, and when we got to the station in [redacted] there was nobody to help us with anything. The toll booth was empty so we were unsure what to do. We stood and waited for roughly about 20 minutes waiting for someone to get to the booth. We were afraid that we would in trouble if we got on the T without paying first. Thankfully someone came up beside us (another passenger) and he informed me that you had to pay on the shuttle itself. I asked the attendant a few questions but he was really unwilling to answer any questions. We were also given a bit of an attitude because we were not sure what we were doing. So we quickly stopped asking questions and just tried to figure everything out ourselves. When we got to Pittsburgh we tried calling customer service and yet again were highly unsuccessful! We were not sure what you called the stations and tried explaining it the best way possible, only for someone to pretty much tell me that they were unable to help. Extremely frustrated at this point, I went on and enjoyed my day in the city. I was so unsure about anything else so I walked half way across the city. I believe I walked close to 10 miles alone. I know that there somewhere in the city are a few free stops because someone else on the T told me, but I was unsure where, and not any of your attendants wanted to help me out. I was so amazed at how many rude people you have working for you.On the way back I caught the T at the [redacted]. I got on the T and headed home. There were a few empty seats but the passengers had bags on the seats and would not move them. I had to stand the whole way back to [redacted], and it was not an easy ride. I almost fell a few times, and I was already tired because of all of the walking I had to do. When I got off the T I had my $3.75 out and ready so I could pay and leave. I was not told at all that there was a fee for rush hour, and I was not even sure when you considered rush hour to be. I put my $3.75 in and the attendant told me that I still owed money. This caused an argument because I had to search my bag for enough change for my friend and I. People behind me were yelling at me, and cursing at me. The attendant was also not very pleasant about it. Its like they all expected us to know exactly what we were doing before we even went on. The night before we looked at the website but it was not helpful in the least. This experience was horrible, and I dont know if I will ever ride this thing again!Desired Settlement: I want an explanation on why nobody wanted to help me, yet they expected me to know everything. I have never been treated so horribly in my life. This was supposed to be a day full of fun, and it turned out to be one of the worst days of my life. Why do people have to be so rude when they are at work? What happened to quality customer service? You charge a nice bit of money just to ride from one side of the city to the next, and you are treated like sm the whole time.

Review: On Wednesday December 16 2015, I called Port Authority of Allegheny County, to have the issue of my paid bus pass taken care of. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone, informing him that I paid for the public transportation fare of $37.50 on Sunday 13 2015. I told the rep that usually I pay for my transportation fare on Sundays, and am able to use the fare the following Monday, but this time it did not work. I told the rep that this is not the first time that this has happened, but that this has happened on multiple occasions.

The rep apologized about the situation, collected information from me regarding transportation card pin number, mother’s maiden name, times I take public transportation, and stated I would be compensated for the cash I had to pay out of pocket to cover my transportation on Monday 12/14/15 – Wednesday 12/16/15. Upon leaving the bus this morning Thursday 12/17/15, I attempted to use the card that has the paid fare on it, only to once again, not have it work.

I paid a total of $22.50/$37.50 out of pocket in cash, to cover my commute to and from work. This $22.50 covers transportation costs for Monday 12/14/15 – 12/16/15. As of today, Thursday 12/17/15, the fare on the card still does not work, and I doubt it will work the remainder of the week. I want a full refund of the $37.50, and I want to be compensated for the humiliation I felt when my fare did not work, resulting in the company's drivers thinking I was trying to get away without paying.

Why should I have to pay for service again? I am upset and angry with this company, their poor customer service, poor representatives, and their very poor ways in dealing with their customer’s issues.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the $37.50, and I want to be compensated for the humiliation I felt when my fare did not work, resulting in the company's drivers thinking I was trying to get away without paying.

Complaint ID: [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]Port Authority is in receipt of your correspondence dated December 17, 2015 regarding the above referenced matter. I note that while your correspondence is dated December 17, your letter was not delivered to or received by Port Authority until December 28.Complainant contends that she made an online purchase of a weekly pass on Sunday, December 13 but her Connectcard did not register this transaction when she attempted to use it to pay her transit fare later that week. An investigation into the matter set forth in the complaint reveals that the complainant actually has two active, registered Connectcards with Port Authority, both of which were utilized at various times during the time frame of November and December, 2015. We believe that what happened in this case is that the complainant loaded one Connectcard, but then mistakenly utilized her other Connectcard when she attempted to pay for transit later that week. Port Authority will reimburse her the amount of $37.50, representing the cost of a weekly pass. She may contact Port Authority Manager of Revenue Collections, Joe M[redacted] at ###-###-#### to coordinate whether she would like to receive her refund by check, weekly pass or stored value (and, if she elects either a weekly pass or stored value, to establishwhich Connectcard she would like the refund to be posted). We are hopeful that the complainant will be satisfied with this response. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Very truly yours,Bryan ** C[redacted]

Review: I have repeatedly waited for the P16 bus at the [redacted] Road/[redacted] Road stop. I used the company's trip planner in order to determine the route and time I needed to catch the bus. I was at the stop at the correct time, waving and making sure that the driver of the bus could see me, and was passed up both times. I need to take this bus in order to get to my college classes and finish my degree, I work very hard to make the money to pay for my bus passes, and have been unable to use them because the bus refuses to stop at bus stops that ARE ON ITS ROUTE. This is getting ridiculous, and I'm running out of options in order to get something done. I have contacted the Port Authority via their customer service line, but it seems nothing was done about this. I can't continue to scramble in order to find a ride to class, especially since I shouldn't have to if the bus would only stop where it's supposed to and pick me up. It's not much to ask that a business assure that its employees perform their only job duty, which is TO PICK PEOPLE UP AT THE BUS STOP AND TAKE THEM WHERE THEY NEED TO GO. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I wish to be contacted by the supervisor of these drivers, and assured that this will NEVER happen again. I don't wish to be given free passes, or a refund for anything, I only want to know that I won't be passed up by my bus again. I want to be absolutely positive that this will never happen to me again.
