I realize my review is from 9 years ago, but...
Completely disagree with both reviews. I was married on 9/10/11 and had an outstanding experience with Troy. He also took our engagement photos. We love them all!

We hired Troy to take photos of our wedding on 8/9/19. His assistants came and took all of our wedding photos and Troy said he would edit them. We signed a contract and he was paid in full by the dates stated on the contract. It is now a few month from our one year anniversary and we still do not have our wedding photos. We have tried contacting him through: text, social media, email, and phone calls. We have had to hire a lawyer to get him to communicate with us. He kept telling me he would give us our photos and now we have not heard from him in months.

Our wedding photo package included an album which was supposed to come from Italy. We ordered it January 2018 and never received it. I messaged Troy multiple times and now see that the fb page and website have been deactivated.

I was married 9/28/19. After waiting several months and having every excuse given, I had to file a small claims against Troy. Within days of receiving it I was finally given my pictures within a week, as to avoid court. He is a bad business man and should never be a photographer. I had to pay another 100 in legal cost to obtain my wedding pictures at the end of February. By my contract date I should of had them in 2019. When I did finally receive them they were unedited so I still had to pay another photographer to edit them for us

I hired Troy back in February of 2019 for my wedding on September 19th, 2020. I signed a contract and paid him a $500.00 deposit per the contract to hold our date, with the remaining money due 2 weeks before the event. He did a photo session for us as part of our contract on November 9th, 2019, and I have only received 10 photos from the session. I have not heard anything from him since November of 2019. I have emailed, texted, and called multiple times, and have received zero responses of any kind from him. I am very disappointed as I had read so many good reviews for his photography business, and he seemed like such a trustworthy person to hire for my big day. His website has disappeared, his phone goes directly to voicemail, and I am seeing more and more complaints for him coming up on the internet.

We were married on 9/14/19 and still have not received our wedding photos. Worse, Troy is not responding to communication, has turned his phone off, and his website is no longer active. Our contract states an estimated completion time of 8-10 weeks after the wedding and an additional 35 days to turn over a USB with all photos, unrestricted and printable. We also added a custom photo album on to our order. Worst case, we should have had every photo from our wedding by Christmas.

We received a sneak peek of a handful of photos ~2 weeks after the wedding and we thought - great! After that...crickets. I reached out on December 2 to see if we could possibly get 2 photos for Christmas cards - we were told that would be no problem and that the entirety of our photos were "nearly done". We had to hassle Troy for the next 2 weeks to even get 2 photos for Christmas cards; Christmas cards which were sent out after Christmas due to the delays. Since then we have been told time and time again that they will be done soon. We reached out at the end of February and Troy said he'd been going through some personal things for a few months. We were understanding and I even offered to meet up with him if he wanted to grab a beer and chat or anything - no response to that offer and nothing since.

So here we are - 7 months out from our wedding date and all we've received are less than 10 photos from our day and no means of communicating with Troy. We have our engagement photos but otherwise our $3,000 has been stolen. He did renew his business with the state in December so at least at that point he was planning to continue to run pixelposey. At this point, I would just take the digital prints and get them edited by someone else. We have no choice but to pursue legal action at this time and will not stop until we receive our photos.

I’ve been in touch with Sarah & Corey. Their wedding was just perfect and the images are gorgeous.

My editing has been slower than I’d like however the last thing I would ever do is not give them the photos I took. This should all be finished very soon and I thank you for the patience you’ve shown.

AWFUL !!!!! Cant even believe I have to write this review . My daughters wedding was Oct 2019 and Troy *** was the photographer. I thought he seemed like a great guy. BUT we are still waiting to receive A single picture from the wedding . He rarely responses to any messages sent and if he does he lies and gives date after date that is not met. HE WAS PAID IN FULL and there is no reason why my daughter has NOT gotten her pictures . This guy is the worst and should NOT be in business. All we want are her pictures and I pray he hasn't lost them. Seeking legal measures at this time .

We hired Troy *** of PixelPosey Photography for our wedding 7/7/2018 we had to pay him prior to the wedding. We didn't get our wedding photos until 1/23/2019 6-8 weeks was what was expected. Troy did a very poor job of communicating to us after the wedding (though not prior to) about when our photos would be available. We paid for our wedding album prior to the wedding also, I was under the impression that he would make this for us without additional effort from us. I had to ask for instruction and clarification on how to do this and even after submitting everything we still have not received our album to date. Troy told me there was a delay as it is being put together in Italy but no ETA given even with prompting. There are 2 additional requests I had one photo that I wanted photoshopped and another I wanted cropped, Troy hasn't been able to fulfill either of these requests though he said he would. With the delays that we have dealt with Troy assured my husband he would "take care of us" he did comp us 2 8x10 canvas prints Christmas 2018 as we had not even seen our photos yet. He has not met any other requests. Included in our package we were also supposed to receive a USB with our photos, we never received this.

I am highly dissatisfied that it took so long to receive our photos, that I have had such poor communication after payment was received before any services delivered. It is 1 1/2 years since our wedding and I still don't have wedding photos or an album to show for it.

There is an album ordered + 2 smaller parent albums requested that I add for the length of time they have waited. My correspondence was with ***. He requested the additional albums plus some sort of compensation. The amount 80% refund requested is far more than I had intended. They have images, the book is an add on to the package with a difference in a package that does not include an album of less than $500. Im adding two parent albums they exceed that amount. The photoshop work was done and uploaded to the original gallery. Im flexible with options.

I am rejecting this response because:
We still don't have anything we have asked for.

When will the albums arrive? I submitted photos to you in October 2019. Neither *** or I were aware that 2 smaller parent albums were also added on. In January 2020 you said that the album was in "processing phase", I asked for ETA and you never responded.

Please clarify amount of compensation you think is fair given wait time and lack of communication to both *** and me, the contract was with both of us, we both paid you, and expect correspondence when either of us contact you about items in the contract.

I am unable to see the photoshop changes to photo 459 and the crop to photo 559 in the original https://pixelposey.zenfolio.com/p609106143. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? I asked you about these 2 changes back in August 2019 and January 2020 you clarified changes and said you would upload but never replied when I asked where you were at with these things February 2020.

Contract stated we would USB of images which we also never received.
