I am responding to the letter you (Revdex.com) received from *** *** *** *** They did have service performed on April 21st, days and +/- 3,miles prior to their wheel coming offWe are very regretful of the incident that Mrs*** went throughHowever, we did
indeed get involved right away subsequent to being notified of the incidentWe then contacted our corporate claims department, who in turn contacted a local, independent, licensed claims adjuster to investigate the claimThe claims adjuster did not find any indication of negligence on the behalf of Discount Tire whatsoeverOnce we were notified of this, we did offer to take care of the mechanical repairs as a measure of goodwill (This was the +/- $that Mr*** refers to in his letter.) The ***s' turned that offer down, so we offered to split their bill 50/50, again as a measure of goodwillThe offer was accepted, a check was issued and cashed, releasing Discount Tire from any and further claims of liabilityThe claim case was then closedPlease feel free to contact me with any further questions Make it a great day! It is my pleasure to refund you the $25.68 (Check was mailed 11/12/14).  I do apologize your bill was more than you had expected.  I regret I did not get to speak with you personally regarding this matter, and that you were not satisfied with your experience.  I encourage you to visit...

On 12/4/15, at 9pm, a driver for Pizza Plus backed into my vehicle parked in my driveway. Attempting to talk to the driver he sped off down the alley and I was able to cut him off in the next street. When he asked what I wanted I told him he hit my car and I was calling the police. He drove off and the [redacted] police came to his work and cited him for leaving the scene. I filed a claim with his insurance info provided on 12/8 and on 12/9 they called me back claiming the car was dropped from the policy the day before (12/3/15). I have contacted Pizza Plus restaurant (Prater Way)and the business office several times concerning the issue. The driver, [redacted] claims he blacked out from a seizure and doesn't remember anything. On 12/12 I spoke with the Manager [redacted] at Pizza Plus and he insisted they would get to the bottom of things, knowing his employee is driving without insurance, and has seizures, as the information was told to me from the driver in front of him.Product_Or_Service: N/ADesired SettlementI would like my car repaired at the expense of the driver, or Pizza Plus business. Pizza Plus should have to verify that their drivers have valid insurance, not just a card they present, and are healthy enough to drive. And in the case that a lapse or accident should occur, Pizza Plus should be held liable for any incidents. Business Response The Delivery Driver in question is no longer delivering for our company. He has been assigned a different roll.We (Pizza Plus), were not aware of any medical conditions that the Delivery Driver may have. Pizza Plus uses a third party insurance company ([redacted]) who verifies the eligibility of our drivers. The Driver in question was operating a private vehicle insured for another person through [redacted]. He was not covered under the insurance policy. The underwriters at [redacted] should not have granted him eligibility to drive. However, they made an error during the verification process. [redacted] assumes responsibility for the claim and they are currently working on it.At Pizza Plus, we stand behind everything we do. Most of the time we get it right, and sometimes we mess up. If the insurance company does not resolve the situation and pay for the damaged vehicle, then Pizza Plus will pay for the damages. We want to send out a sincere apology to Cathy Campbell for her inconveniences suffered by this accident. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)I accept the businesses apology and await a reply from the Insurance handlers response for the repair of my vehicle. I also appreciate the businesses honesty and integrity about taking responsibility. Too bad their employee doesn't share the same passion..

Review: Recently my family and I had eaten at the Pizza Plus restraint located in [redacted]. The waitress had given us the specials and my husband and I had decided on the Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches with bacon and cheese curly fries. I had requested jalapenos on my sandwich. We were told the price was $5.50 each. When we received our order there were no jalapenos on my sandwich but instead were mixed in with the fries. When we received the bill our order came to $25.68. I questioned the manager on why it was so much and he said were did not get the special and basically we were charged as if it were four different meals. Not only did I explain what we had been told what the special was from our waitress and what the price was, but the waitress even explained this in front of us and told the manager she had given us that deal at that price. The manager then told her that offer was only good for lunch. The waitress said it was her fault that she had made the mistake but the manager insisted I pay the full amount and then said he would make sure she doesnt make the same mistake again. Not wanting to cause a seen in front of the other customers, I did as he insisted. I tried calling the restaurant the next day to try and handle this matter at the restaurant level, and after being placed on hold, disconnected, and being told I cant help you, you will have to call back and speak with that manager when he returns and having the cycle repeated. This has gone on for a few of weeks and I am getting nowhere with Pizza Plus.Desired Settlement: I feel I should be refunded the $25.68 or given a credit for the amount due to the negligence on behalf of Pizza Plus.
