Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.
Please see the work order findings by another service company, " Water leak from A/CFound overflow pan fullDrain line and trap full of waterCut drain and put suction on both ends of Puc drainThen purged with COAdded a T to 3/4" Pic for easy clean out in the futureRan system and checked refrigerator charge and operating pressuresSystem and cooling." Additionally the service man said there was a large amount of "gunk" in the drain lineThat "gunk" did not accumulate during the few days of operation since the earlier service call in late JuneIt was left there by the inadequate job done in June when the only effort was to fish the line from the outsideNo suction was ever applied and the unhappy result was a continuation of the overflow problem which was NOT FIXED

After reviewing the customer’s rebuttal, his response does not satisfy us as it is not truthful. You and others can determine how honest this customer is.The customer waited over two months to notify us of any problem. The HVAC service order/invoice indicates a 30-day labor warranty. This is well past the 30 days. And, the customer signed and agreed to the invoice. His “complaint” says “after no more than a week’s use” and “a few days of operation.” Strange how it was over two months later! We attempted to respond to his home, but he refused same-day service within one hour and expected the mechanic for free. His latest response indicates one company’s words. This is one company’s words over another company’s words. The air conditioning systems were working and not leaking at the end of the service visit on June 21, 2017.Contractors beware.

PJ Mechanical LLC serviced the air conditioning systems at [redacted]’s home on June 21, 2017. The mechanic cleaned the filters and the drains for the units. The mechanic went into the crawl space attic, which was full of roofing debris (nails and tar). He found he could not blow the unit drain from...

inside due to accessibility so he then went outside to the roof and cleaned the drain from the outside in. The access to service the system is very limited. The air conditioning systems were working and not leaking at the end of the service visit on June 21, 2017. The customer signed the HVAC service order/invoice which indicates a 30-day labor warranty. On August 23, 2017, we received a voice mail from [redacted] stating that “we had a service call here in late June to fix an overflowing air conditioning unit in the ceiling above our living room, the fix apparently didn’t work, whatever was done, and we need to get it repaired, we are flooding the living room the second time this summer.” I contacted the closest, available mechanic who indicated he could get to Mr. [redacted]’s home within approximately one hour. I returned the phone call to [redacted] indicating that I had a mechanic on the way. He requested another mechanic and I told him that no one was available. He then went on to rudely tell me that the mechanic didn’t fix the problem and didn’t know what he was doing. When I told him the mechanic who visited his home in June had been doing this for over 20 years, his reply was “maybe that’s the problem.” I asked him how he knew that the mechanic didn’t do the work he indicated, his response was “I know.” He continued by stating that in over 10 years of having the air conditioning systems, there has never been a problem. I told him that he indicated that the system was over 10 years old and I tried to explain to him that as the system gets older, things can happen. I wasn’t allowed to speak any more as he cut me off and said, “the age of the system has nothing to do with this.” He then asked, “will the mechanic charge for this visit?” I told him “yes.” He then said, “I will contact the Revdex.com.” I told him to go ahead. I further stated, “you don’t want the same mechanic so I will cancel the mechanic and good luck.” Working in an office and communicating with many customers, I do not feel that I need to be personally attacked, insulted, or told that we know nothing. So, after a conversation such as this, here are a few very important points:[redacted] indicates in his complaint that “after no more than a week’s use since the service call, …”    Note that we were at his home on June 21, 2017 and NEVER heard another word from him until August 23, 2017 … that is over two months. I doubt very much that if a flood was happening that anyone would wait two months. The HVAC service order/invoice indicates a 30-day labor warranty. This is well past the 30 days. And, the customer signed and agreed to the invoice. In speaking with the mechanic, the mechanic indicated that regular preventative maintenance had not been performed on the systems. This customer immediately began with the insults and did not want service which we could provide the same day within two hours of his phone call.[redacted] also indicates in his complaint that “repeated flooding after such a short period of operation is indicative of an incomplete effort by the service person.” He is insisting that the service person didn’t do his job, and won’t listen to any other possibilities.PJ Mechanical LLC owes this customer nothing.
