I paid up front for 7 months.I informed PlanetBeach I needed to freeze my services.I was told it was taken care of.I did not get what I paid for.My Father was sick.I informed Planet BeachOf my situation I was told my account wouldBe frozen and to come back when I was ableI called and the owner informed me she could only give me 8 weeks when I informed her I put my servicesOn hold she told me that could not be done and then hung up on me all I wanted was what I paid forDesired SettlementI paid up front 700.00 I would settle for 350.00Business Response On July 12, 2013 the above customer bought a 1 month Paid in Full package with us, and used it regularly until it expired. On August 10th, the customer purchased a 6 month Paid in Full, she loved our services and to accommodate her financially, we gave her the 6 month package that was normally $799.00 for a discounted price of $500.00, plus we added a free month for her which gave her 7 months. She used her package all of the month of August, September, February and March. Paid in full packages can not be frozen, her package expired on 3/11/2014. She came in the spa in March and told us of her situation. At that time we told her we would extend her package another 6 weeks. August 5th,2014 I received an email from her she was not happy with the extra 6 weeks, I told her at that time I would give her an extra 2 months. Which technically would total 10 months for her, considering she did use the package 4 months and the 7th month was a free month that we had given her and we had discounted the package $299.00 to begin with. When a customer purchases a paid in full package there is an expiration date and it is up to them to use their package. Only with an EFT membership are we allowed to put a package on freeze. Due to her unfortunate situation I offered her an extra 2 months. She phoned me on August 13th, threatening me with legal action and was very disrespectful. I was not going to argue with her so I told her to have her attorney contact me and that is when I proceeded to hang up. I have records of all monetary transactions and records of when services were used. I can supply those if needed. I feel like I went above and beyond offering an extra two months to her Package that had expired on March 11, 2014. Also, had she purchased the sessions that she used individually, the cost would have totaled well over $1000.00 since she did utilize her package quite often.The Membership Agreement that was signed states this was a 6 Month Paid in Full Membership, expiration of February 11, 2014, which was extended to March 11, 2014 due to the FREE MONTH that was given. Consumer Response I was not disrespectful in any way.I told her that I was told my servicesWe're indeed frozen by [redacted] alsohave details that my services couldIndeed be frozen and also what ever wasNot used in a month would roll over into the following month hand written by [redacted] That I was in fact paying for 7 [redacted] Further stated that [redacted] would also be ableTo assist me if I needed and she was not in. Final Consumer Response I informed [redacted] of my Fathers illness inSeptember that's when I was told myServices were frozen.I was not in NC In March I was by my Fathers side.[redacted] admits I only received 3 out the 7months I paid for.This is a military community.And I am part of this military family.militaryand there families should not be scammed.I don't see the core values set by [redacted] in her actions.More info received from the consumer 2014-08-18The equipment they have there is old and hardly works.The bronzing bed is being held together by double sidedTape.the mystic tan is always breaking down.I would settleFor 300.00 since I got less than half of what I paid for or at least what I paid for the other 4 months.I am willing to compromise to settle this.Planet Beach has had allotof issues not honoring there contracts.and misleading Received Final Response from Business 2014-08-18Thank you for your response.
