Planet Beach Palm Valley Reviews (2)

After reading your review I was really concerned with the information you provided so I took some time to look into the details of your account You stated in your review that you got sick in March from viral laryngitis I took some time to research laryngitis, I found this information- "Many
people find inhaling steam, such as from a hot bath or shower,or a cool mist humidifier makes them feel better." this information is from; *** Our hydration station is a hot steam sauna with infrared heatThe hydration is cleaned with hospital grade cleaner after every client, it uses fresh distilled water for every client, and is bleached every night Infrared heat also kills bacteria and virusesThe hydration station is used over times a month and we have never had anyone come in complaining of any type of illness caused by the hydration stationIf anything- the hydration would have imitated a humidifier and helped your conditionAnother thing that I don't understand is you stated you got sick in March, the notes from Amanda saying you came in to cancel were put in on April 14th more than a month after you got sickYou also continued to use the hydration station on: 3/1, .3/13, 3/15, 3/17, 3/19, 3/26, 4/5,4/16, 4/18, and 5/I do not understand why if your doctor advised you that the hydration caused your viral laryngitis why you continued to use that specific service that you are claiming was causing your illnessYour account went past due in August at which point I called the phone number we have on file, you informed me that you were with a client and that you had informed us that you wanted to cancel in March and therefore you didn't have a membership with us and didn't want to argue and you hung up on meI tried to reach you via email, letters, and phone calls and no contact was returnedWe would have been more than willing to work with you had you provided a doctor's note stating what you caught was specifically from the hydration stationNo doctor's note was ever provided and there are many s,services included on your membership that would not involve steam that you were using up until 5/31/14. Another area I want to address is that we are a membership based small business just like a gym, cell phone company, etcWe must abide by the rules of the membership agreement which you signed when you joinedWe are more than willing to work with specific situations such as medical conditions or military, however we never received any documentation from you regarding a medical condition and you never responded to any of our several contact attemptsThe reason we needed medical documentation is because you were on a signed contract and just because we are a small business does not make the contract any less validI would be more than happy to discuss your account balance and medical issue further with you if you want to give me a call back at ***

The hydration is cleaned with hospital grade cleaner after every client, it uses fresh distilled water for every client, and is bleached every night.  Infrared heat also kills bacteria and viruses. The hydration station is used over 1200 times a month and we have never had anyone come in complaining of any type of illness caused by the hydration station. If anything- the hydration would have imitated a humidifier and helped your condition. Another thing that I don't understand is you stated you got sick in March, the notes from Amanda saying you came in to cancel were put in on April 14th more than a month after you got sick.
