Planet Fitness - Duarte, CA

I'm not welcome at the gym I am paying for, reason, was wearing the wrong shoes and the staff threatened to cancel my membership and call the cops!!!
I signed up for a membership at Planet Fitness in Duarte (CA XXXXX) on January 9, 2020 after my Chiropractor, *** had recommended me to start rehabbing for my spine injury, I was in a motorcycle accident a few months ago. I wasn't feeling very well so I didn't start my rehab workout until February 14, 2020 when I came in to my Planet Fitness for the first time to the rehab exercises my Doctor had prescribed for me. When I entered the gym, there were 3 staff members (male) that were chatting and laughing with each other, I was saying "excuse me" and trying to show my tag for them to scan but they were too busy chatting with each other until I raised my voice and said "excuse me" a couple of times, then one of them acknowledged it and scanned my tag without giving me any eye contact or apologizing for neglecting me. As I walk in, I start using the cable machine to strengthen my back and spine as advised by my Doctor. A few minutes after using the machine, a staff member named ***" approaches me and asks me to leave, he says that my shoes are inappropriate and it's against their policy and that if I don't have other shoes with me to wear then I will have to leave rightaway, I immediately asked him to speak to his manager, after a few minutes his manager comes up to me, her name is "***", and says "Sir, you have to leave, we don't accept those shoes here, we have a policy", I said, "I have worn these shoes for almost 2 years now and not one single person in any of the gyms (24 Hour Fitness, UFC Gym) I have trained at has ever told me to leave like you're asking me to leave" and if they were a problem to begin with, you had 3 staff members by the entrance who could have advised me of that when I entered but they didn't, they ignored me!", I felt disrespected, now judged (judgment free zone...I mean the irony...what a joke!!) and discriminated! I told her that "I want to speak to someone in charge, she said "I am in charge, there is no one else", I told her that I'm a paying customer and I have the right to be here and workout, I'm not a criminal, I'm not acting hostile towards anyone and I'm not naked or eating food in the gym", she said "if you don't leave now then I will have to cancel your membership and then you're trespassing and I will have to call the police at that point" those were her exact words!!! I asked for her name and the number to corporate as I felt discriminated and unfairly treated, she gave her name *** and this number (XXX) XXX-XXXX, I called this number rightaway at 1PM on February 14, 2020 and spoke to someone named *** who said that he was in charge, I told him the complete story of what had just happened and how I was treated and that I couldn't go back there as I didn't feel or was welcomed (imagine my first day I go in to a new gym to do rehab that I just signed up with and they treat me like I'm a criminal?!!!) He said that there was nothing he could do and the people that are in charge for these situations will get back to me. Now it's Wednesday February 19, 2020 and no one has gotten back to me!! Absolutely no calls, emails or letters!! I recorded the phone call and I asked him to record it as well for his own record, he said that he did, so you can listen to the call made on February 14, 2020 at 1PM made by this number (XXX) XXX-XXXX to verify everything that I'm saying in this letter is accurate and true, I'm a paying customer who was kicked out, discriminated and threatened for wearing the "wrong shoes"!!! On Wednesday February 19, 2020 I sent a mail to Planet Fitness corporate due to not hearing back from a rep at Planet Fitness like I was promised by "***", this time someone named "***" responds and says that someone will reach out to me...another empty lie, no one until this day has reached out to me to resolve this problem and I can still not enter the gym that has discriminated me and threatened to cancel my membership and call the cops for trespassing!!!
