Review: Planet Fitness bills for the yearly membership fee, but in order to cancel, you have to do that 5 days before you see the charge... and in person... .making it unlikely that you will remember to cancel before having the charge taken out of your bank account.Desired Settlement: I would like a full $39 refund of the membership dues.

In the forth paragraph of our agreements, it states the date the members annual membership fee will be drafted. In order to avoid said charges, it also states that the member is responsible to notify the facility to cancel 7 days prior to the date of the draft, which in this instance the facility was notified on the day of the draft. In that paragraph it does also state that the annual membership fee is fully earned, and once received is non-refundable. The member agrees to these terms via electronic signature on the date of their enrollment.
