switches. I came back on 9/26/15 to replace the cracked manifold that he  allowed the bolts to rust off into the heat exchanger and crack the manifold. Upon seeing that I could not remove the rusted bolts for the repair, I informed him that the heater could not be salvaged and he needed to replace it. He asked if I could cut off the heads of the bolts. I told him I had never tried that and did not have a sawsall to try it. He volunteered to let me use his sawsall. I said we could try it but if the manifold could not be removed from the heat exchanger without damaging the heat exchanger his heater would have to be replaced. He handed me the sawsall, and I cut the bolts. While he was sitting there watching me, the manifold could not be removed using a screwdriver to pry it off, could not be removed using an 18 inch pair of channel lock pliers and violently shaking it. Only then did I try a hammer and chisel to remove the manifold. There was not enough room to swing the hammer, only tap on it until the manifold broke free of the heat exchanger. It revealed that exchanger was corroded and had a bent tube. I came back on Monday 9/28/15 and routed plumbing around the heater so he could still run his pool. At this time he started telling me I broke it and I needed to fix it. So I picked up my tools and told him to wait another 5 minutes for the glue to dry before turning his pool back on and left while he threatened to call the Revdex.com and anyone else he could think of to ruin my business reputation. He called me because his heater was already corroded and not working. I will not pay  for any repairs he has done to his eight and half year old rusted heater.
