To whom it may concern, My name is James, and I was the clerk on shift during this transactionWe're sorry that this experience wasn't a pleasant one, but I believe that my co-worker and I did everything in our power to help this customer. Allow me to explain some of the finer
points about this transactionIt was about 3PM on a SaturdayThe customer was informed that we didn't carry the product that they desired from the very beginning of the interaction, and was recommended to a different vape storeWe are a small vapor and smoke shopAs such, we have a wide variety of non vape-related products, and our vape section is smaller than most specialty vape shopsThe customer insisted on purchasing a vaporizer from us, instead of a specialty vape store, with a larger selection. We tried our best to find something that would work for this customer, since she was insistent on purchasing a vape hereWe had just received a shipment of vaporizer kits, and I opened several of the new products for her so that she could examine the assembled size, only to be met with frustrated comments about the size of the vaporizers (they were too big, horrible, etc.). Eventually she became impatient and asked for the smallest vape kit that we had, and so we suggested a SMOK stick V8, as it had the smallest profile of our selectionShe did not ask to view the assembled productShe resolved to take our word for it, and made the purchaseLater she returned in an attempt to return the vaporizer, as she said it was bigger than she wantedIt had already been discussed before the purchase that everything we had was bigger than what she would have preferred, and that we didn't have anything small enough to suit her needsStill, we were ready to make an exchange, as is our policy, which is clearly posted on the front of the counter at the register (picture for reference included), and on a support beam, visible as you enter the store The customer became irate at the fact that she wouldn't be issued a refundThe upset was understandable, but our hands were tied, as the policy is clearly posted, and is non-negotiableWe, as workers, have no authority to make exceptions to store policyI had to interrupt a couple of times to get a word in edge-wise, to inform her of this, so that she might calm down, and keep from upsetting our other customersShe, however, would hear none of it, and left the store in an unhappy state We aim to please here at Planet XWe like our customers to leave happier than they arrived, and go through great effort to maintain a fun, and stress-free shopping environmentThat being said, it's always disappointment when we can't take care of our customersHowever, we can't take responsibility for the decisions of this customer, and do not believe that we were misleading in the leastWe do not intend to violate our policy to issue a refund for this transaction If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us via phone at 907-891-
